You will always get people rant about seating and no veggi options and stupid little matters!!!! but it was a concert not a 5 star holiday. If you want VIP then pay for it!!!!! Totally outstanding performance and it was Elton John. Probably one of his last performances he's gonna do!!!!!! Well done Ipswich town let's have more of this. It never happens in Ipswich and when it does you moan get agrip!!!!!!!

Myself, my husband, son and daughter-in-law went to the Elton John concert and this was the 47th time we've seen him in concert. Excellent as always! We treated ourselves for once and paid extra for the 'rocket man' package which included a meal prior to the concert. We were extremely impressed with everything, from the excellent food and drink and the venue, to the efficient security staff and venue staff, who I must say were the friendliest we've encountered at the many venues we've visited over the years. Well done and thanks to everyone at Ipswich Town FC for a fantastic evening!

As big Town fans this was the perfect venue for our wedding reception and it didn't let us down! We were looked after right from day one leading to everything going perfect on the day. The hall is a fantastic size with beautiful views overlooking the pitch. We were a large party but all food came out on time and tasted delicious! The staffing team were superb and played a big role in the day going so well, a real credit to the club.

As an ipswich fan from australia coming to portman road for the first time - absolutely loved it! Atmosphere, fans, result - for me it was the traditional football experience only bettered by experiencing an opening day win against Birmingham

Great concert as you'd expect from someone who's been doing it for 50 years! About the same time it took to get any refreshments from the one bar open on the ground level of Sir Alf Ramsey stand, although the club denied any part of the concessions, interesting to note the same people as matchdays. And no card payments? Come on, in this day and age, people queued for an hour for a drink to be told no card payment :/

Fantastic night at Elton John concert. We was in the disabled area the steward were helpful . Even when the fizz man parked opposite us and the fizz flag was blocking our view not petty as some of us can't move for a better view anyway after making a steward aware Mr fizz lost his fizz flag view restored. Great view swatting. Easy smooth access in and out of ground and parking would recommend to disabled users x

Went to the Venue last night for our Christmas meal. It was a very mediocre night. We paid £38 for three courses. Starter was bland had no flavour, no salt and pepper on the table. Main was pork, very dry, crackling would have snapped a few teeth off. Others parts of the main were good, lovely gravy. Dessert I got served an extremely poorly sized christmas pudding and a tablespoons worth of custard, which had a skin on the top. Coffee to finish had a lovely flavour. The DJ was playing good tracks and cutting them off half way, so would be in the mood to dance, then it would change and we would all sit down again.

Wouldn’t go again - really disappointed. Really not worth the money.

The concert was brill. As for the venue,what can I say. Not a patch on Carrow Road. The stadium is in dire need of some TLC. Ridiculous queues to get a bottle of water and as for the ladies toilets, I won't even go there!

As someone who isn't a fan of Elton John I actually found him entertaining to watch and had a good night.

Disappointing part for me was the slow clueless staff behind the bar and the lack of stock with drinks running out early on.

Poor planning and no doubt lost revenue for the venue.
