We had our wedding breakfast here! Amazing venue, superb food, wonderful staff! It truly was the best day ever and a massive thank you to everyone at Jacobys and especially Gill for all her help and support on our special day! � xx

We had a lovely meal last Friday, absolutely perfect, staff were attentive, couldn't have asked for a better service. Would definitely recommend.

The food was absolutely amazing.

The staff were overly helpful and involved in halloween by dressing up.

Live music by Unit 22 - awesome.

Will definitely return

The food here is absolutely amazing, reasonably priced and the staff are really friendly too. My favourite place in Ware!

Love the atmosphere, very helpful and friendly chef, delicious food but the shining star is the lovely Lisa...nothing is too much trouble and always makes me SO welcome....Well done to you all for making Jacobys a wonderful 'watering hole'!

Just had our wedding meal/ drinks in upstairs dining area. Fantastic service and the food was superb. Chef was brilliant in terms of gluten free and vegan options. Such a beautiful room and the staff were all really friendly and professional. Big thanks to Gill and the team.

Had an absolute great time,meal was superb,staff were extremely courteous and help full.Being xmas eve it was absolutely chocca but added to the atmosphere.

At £30 a head thought it was good value,we have been several times before and thought it was lacking but last night was excellent.

Overall a good start to Christmas,cheers Jacobys.

Great place for relaxing and partying when needed. Always live bands on and a friendly atmosphere. Food pretty amazing as well �����

Good looking venue. Great menu. Staff are really friendly and helpful. We came for dinner on our first day we moved to Ware and very much liked it.

Nice place for a drink , bar was a bit short staffed . Took some time to get a drink. The place was very clean and had a nice feel to it

Nice spot but maybe put some ashtrays on the tables? Dirty people chucking their lit fag butts all over the floor. Pretty scummy.

We paid £20 for 'Jacoby's Ladder'. It looked great but turned out to be all fat - it was a case of hunt the meat. When this was raised, we were offered 1 free glass of wine. Not a suggestion of taking it off the bill. Come on Jacoby's, if you're going to charge London prices, you have to offer London service as well. I rarely complain and have never written a bad review on a place. And whilst I like Jacoby's, it's food has always been hit and miss, this experience was just poor.

Visited on 18th Dec for my Neice's 21st birthday. Twenty of us pre-ordered from the menu. Food was warm at best and dishes were poorly prepared. They sold last fish on 17th and didn't replace it for a pre-ordered meal!!!! Slow service and very expensive, won't be going back. You need to sort out your plans for a large group Jacoby's or put a limit on group size.

Not impressed.

Bar maids boyfriend and extended group of friends treating the place like a private social club.

Dirty laundry return bags dragged out into dining/bar area.

Owner giving motivational speak to staff member in front of me.

Expensive prices.



All of the above are either back of house activities and do not warrant premium prices.

so after a long morning in Ware and after looking at numerous options we decided on Jacobys for a late breakfast ........... sitting down with out looking at the menu as the place looked so lovely . Then came the menu and that awkward moment when you realise just how expensive the food is ........ admittedly we could have upped and left at that stage but we thought maybe the food will be execptional and the portion large . The all day breakfast was £8.95 for what turned out to be an average tasting small plate of food - 1 x egg , 2 x sausage 1 x mushroom and 2 strips of bacon . Also on the plate was 1 x slice of toast ( which if I remember rightly was an additional cost !!!!!)

For drinks we opted for Milkshakes @£3.95 each !!!!! - which turned out to be bland and watery in a normal long glass - again very expensive for nowt special

The service was also very slow

All in all £25.00 for two breakfasts and a drink - pretty cheeky really ?!?!?!!?

Used to love Jacobys for a regular lunch but since the refurb and menu change it has become over priced and food very average. A shame! Also no table service outside but the same prices which is senseless! Will not be going back
