Jenny Lind Park Community Project

We deliver a range of youth activities and rent our premises to other community groups, with the vision to decrease crime and increase community cohesion.

History and Session Times:

In September 2010, as a regular member of the local church, Tim Stapleford recognised a need for young people in the Jenny Lind Park area of Norwich. With a small group of volunteers, he began leading weekly football sessions for young people.

In 2014, there was a fantastic opportunity at hand as the Post Office across the road was up for sale. Now, with a growing unit of volunteers, a management team and brilliant support network, we've renovated the 'Old Post Office' to be used as a space to host a range of indoor groups for not just young people, but all members of the community,

We also offer our space to hirers so that more people can benefit from a wider range of community activities. Just a short walk from the city centre, the space is highly accessible, with shops and a park right on the doorstep.
