Welcome to Jimmy's Lake. We are a family run establishment based in Corringham, Essex. Based only 10 miles north of the dartford crossing we are a popular choice for local anglers looking for quality specimen fish.

lake update: winter ticket sales go live 2mr ready for sept 16 2018. you can get a form from the house, or print/download it via the picture below and send it in, you need £100. and x2 passport photo's and your memebership will be sent back to you or if your on a session handed back. the fishing is for two rods untill 01 march 2019. any 3rd rod will need to payed for at a extra cost. fishing is free and you can come/go as you please, please book on so the house know your there for saftey reasons. the fishing is for days and nights and sessions. Any Qs fire them over or ring house 01375670742. thanks steve.

catfish pro squidders have deffo been doing the rounds as of late and when worked with bank-um baits rr1 paste or ground baits your be 100% on the winning path. the cats are getting their feeding heads on, ready to go down, so nail them on the right gear, whislt weather is still warm. rr1 is fished based as is the groundbaits,,,, perfect kitty cat food. What a lake !! First time here and it deffo won't be the last . Did over 100 hours and loved every second. 15 cats 2 carp 3 bream !! 2pbs . Everyone very friendly !!

Red Letter Day with my son worked hard on building swims fish moveing and feeding well to 29lb in 4hrs fishing 9 out to 29lb so far 4hrs into a 24!!! Week
My 1st nite session i had a 24lb common,a 6lb,13lb,18lb,21lb 32lb cat,will definatly be going back and the staff were also very helpfull to top it of all round great nite!
I have to say what a cracking place me and my boy have just got back from doing a 36 hr session there and had an amazing time banking over 260lb the people on the lake where great and joe who runs the snack shed is a top bloke a true gent catering for your every needs and really went out of his way to help my boy got his pb twice with a 25lb cat then a 28.5 I had a good run of fish biggest cat just shy of 40lb at 39 a 34 and loads in between i recommend going fish stock is amazing and some real whoppers to go for thanks to everyone on our session you made our time there great and thank you to Jimmy the owner we loved it your a star

Had a fun time glamping and a Lil fishing, caught 9 in total biggest 34 lb cat, food was awesome loved every meal thanks too Steve and Joe see u guys next time
Had a MONSTER 24 hour session in Peg 7 just to the right of the island. 24 lb Common. 42.50 lb Cat. 32.50 lb Cat 29.50 lb Cat 27.50 lb Cat 19.50 lb Cat 17.50 lb Cat 15 lb Cat 14b Cat.
Who said you need the sand bar to catch Cat? All done in open water.
Great Lake loved it, got my first catfish which was about 30lb and got another which was about 20, Great Lake!
First time i have fished this venue and definitely wont be last.fished peg 10 for approx 100hrs landing 41 fish 40 of them were cats had an amazing time met loads of really nice people including jimmy the owner true gent.also joe the bailiff star man very helpful serves some banging food at the shack and knows his stuff about fishing this lake thanks again joe topman.this lake has some real nice fish in it and some nice size cats would recommend jimmys lake to anyone and really cant wait for my next session in august thanks again to all at jimmys lake and making me feel welcome all the best see you very soon.

Brilliant lake and very helpful staff, the owner jimmy is a lovely bloke, highly recommend if you like to fish for catfish, number one catfish venue in Essex if not the country..🎣🎣🎣
Absolutely cracking lake , first fished this back in the late 80's , the lake goes from strength to strength, stock in the lake is amazing with some mean looking Cats and the guys who look after the lake do this in a great way . Snack shop on site does a Mean quarter pounder and chips as well 👌.......... Back very soon 🎣
5 stars first session had a 5lb, 15lb, 31lb and a 37lb all catfish i had two 30s in one session well happy! cant complain + lost two lumps at the net!
1st time over the lake. With 2 27lb and a 31lb cat was well happy I will be going back.
