After 9 years of making quilts I have decided to do what I can to help stop the spread of Covid 19 and start making a range of 100% cotton limited edition print twin ply face masks and sell them on my web site joelyball.com

For the past 9 years I have built up a good business making quilts, patchwork quilts, and soft Furnishings like cushions, throws, curtains and pretty much every type of fabric accessory for your home. I built my business solely on recommendation and referrals.
Lock down in March 2020 meant I had to change the way I did business, and although I was lucky enough to see the signs early and start making the changes back in January, many of my suppliers, industry friend and colleagues, and many of my competitors didn't.

The virus concerns me greatly and wanted to do something to help. After much thought and research I decided to make face masks and send them out free to all my family, friends and customers. Pretty soon I started to get requests to buy them flooding in so I made more and more, and donated the profits to NHS charities, I even sold them on eBay.

The face masks have grown into a business, and I have had to take on staff to cope with the demand, I set up the website (https://joelyball.com/) to help promote the wearing of face masks and stopping the spread of Corona virus.
