Since coming to this country nearly 14 years ago, I have always loved John Lewis. The quality of their clothing, the range of the products, the kitchen dept is the best - all the quirky little things ... �

Bought my camera there. Have bought many things from this shop.

Prices can be on the high side but then the quality is far superior than other stores.

Staff are always very pleasant, very knowledgable, very professional.

My friends and I always eat there when we are in town.

Yes, I'll keep on going back, if I continue to receive the quality service and after service from John Lewis that I have always received.

My favourite place for shopping. My daughter, 10yrs loves this shop too. Best place to buy presents for family & friends also buy stuffs to treat myself. We always take a break at the cozy cafe on the 2nd floor for a cuppa and enjoy yummy cakes!

I just love John Lewis. I’ve just purchased a 16 place setting Coastal dinner service together with pasta dishes, dip bowls etc in the clearance. It’s come from Milton Keynes, two on line orders and a search by the young man in MK to locate some in Welwyn to complete the set. The wonderfully helpful lady in Welwyn has given me a free drink and cake voucher as I’ve come so far to pick it up. In the meantime she is packing it for a drive in collection and I’m sipping coffee. I really do love your customer service. Thanks to all your staff! Lesley

I have a fantastic experience every time I shop here (which is often!). The service is always excellent and they can't do enough to help plus the facilities are great when shopping with children. I had an issue this week with a branded item that had broken under warranty and Katie in the nursery department was really helpful and efficient and worked with JL HQ and the supplier to get me a decent solution (after having been given an unsatisfactory one by the supplier). Lynette and Glyn (nursery) are also always very helpful! 😊

As a new parent this has become my go-to destination when out and about with my 7 week old son. The parents room is a godsend, pretty much the only place I find it convenient to use the bathroom with a buggy, there are also changing facilities and seating so I can feed him in a relaxing atmosphere without needing to spend a single penny, plus there's even a water cooler for when I've forgotten to drink! I find the cafe very baby friendly and often meet friends there, or just stop for a coffee break on my own. Being a John Lewis Nursery member I get free coffee and cake a few times a year, which is also an added bonus.

I don't like to dis John Lewis off but we went yesterday on our way back from a visit. We wanted to look at some pink curtains which we had seen on line. They had similar ones in the colour of putty so we wanted to compare the two as we are decorating our bedroom.

The curtain section was very poor with hardly anything on display and certainly nothing in the colour of pink or putty. I was extremely disappointed 😔. To cheer ourselves up we went and had a drink and a cake using my vouchers, so that wasn't too bad. After that we went home and I ordered my curtains on line, which is how I do the majority of my shopping with John Lewis. Sometimes tho' it s nice to see things properly before you make a purchase!

-1 star as they have hardly any staff on the floor. You want to talk to someone one about a product and when you eventually track someone down there are 5 people waiting in front of you. They may not be knowingly undersold but they are under staffed.

Went for tea and cake with my mum, dirty cups and teapots over priced at £12 dirty tables rubbish on floor Not impressed

I visited the place to eat at about 3.45 and people were queuing down the stairs. There were tabled with dirty crockery on and only one side of the food aisle was open!! Queued for ages to pay, only one till open so by the time I got to my seat the hot chocolate was cold! Scones and cakes were nice though.

When visiting John Lewis yesterday with my wife, my daughter and our 7 month old grandson, after visiting the restaurant on the 2nd floor my daughter and my wife took our grandson to the family room next to the toilets. They were disgusted by the state of the room. It was not at all clean or hygienic but they could not find anybody close at hand to point this out to.

I have lived in or near WGC all my life and have never made a major purchase from this store without some issue. The most recent involved an ex-display chair which I carefully inspected in-store and found to be in perfect condition. By the time it was delivered, one leg was damaged and fell off. Got a refund but have wasted time and must waste more, waiting for it to be collected. No apology and no gesture of humility from JL. They will only show good will if I show them good will first - by buying another chair at full price. So, if I pay them an extra £200, they might consider giving me £50, but I will not get sure until I place the order. Anybody else think this sounds more like extortion than a good will gesture?



As an update, I received an invoice from JL - they expect me to pay £19 for them to collect the chair which they delivered damaged. They really are a bunch of criminals.

When u ask what size they go up to and the person replys "well not big enough for you" ��� definitely won't be going back. Such awful customer service!!

I have £385 worth of vouchers given to me for my wedding present October 2014 with one thing and another iv not needed anything until today as I'm going on holiday tomorrow. So I went into the store to buy a Camara sorted it out with one of your team members ( Darren who was a great help trying to deal with the problem ) anyway Darren then informed me that they were out of date . Over the years I alway s found If you want great service and product this is the place to go and iv made many purchases there iv just waked out of there very pissed off with how John Lewis have treated me this is worse than been mugged by some local hood rat on the street they have openly stood there and told me IM ROBBING £385 of you and you can't do nothing about it .



Well I'm off to one of the local shops to buy a camara that my family and friends have already paid for thanks a bunch John Lewis I will do my upmost to get my money back if not . I will continue to embarrass you . Legally of course .

Be wary when buying a mattress from John Lewis.

I am amazed to be writing this as I have been a John Lewis customer for years. To say "I hated it" about the store is not quite accurate to be fair but I feel extremely dissatisfied with a recent purchase and am very disappointed and rather surprised by their customer service. I decided to replace my beloved 7 year old (John Lewis) mattress in the sales. I didn't even go anywhere else because we had enjoyed our first mattress so much from the day we bought it. We spent a couple of hours trying Ones in the same range and settled on a 7000 spring one costing £750. We were excited a week later when it arrived...until we lay on it. It felt and continues to feel very firm and I am waking up with a back ache. A furniture inspector came to visit and agreed it felt firm but the report he wrote did not confirm this it appears. The manufacturing company say that the mattress is a medium one and have offered no help. I always believed that John Lewis customer service was second to none but apparently I was wrong. I am So disappointed and feel very let down.

Awful service tonight. Stood at the Estée Lauder counter for about 10 minutes with no one serving, them at the perfume counter. Shop assistants running around giggling and trying products. Wouldn’t have minded if I didn’t have money to spend and needed to buy things
