took 4 x 11 year olds and 3 x 8 years olds for my daughters birthday party they had a lovely time bowling and nothing was to much trouble... we ate in the restaurant and they decorated the table with the confetti and party poppers and we sat on the hot dog table x the food was absolutely stunning the girls loved it and so did the adults to.. they even brought the cake out for us x i cant thank the staff enough for everything they did today .ps the coke floats and root beer went down a treat x

We visited for my little boy's 2nd birthday yesterday - and had a fantastic meal x everything was well-cooked and delicious x excellent service from our very attentive waiter x nothing was too much trouble - and we left planning our next visit x

We came last night quite a few of us for my little girls birthday we had such an awesome time and wanted to say a massive thank you to your two young ladies members of staff for so much kindness and help. They couldn’t have been more accommodating! They were so patient and good with us and even looked after our birthday cake and put candles on for my daughter she was happy! The food was awesome too a few of us were vegetarians and were so pleased with our meals so yummy!! We all just wanted to say a huge thank you again!! Xxx

Took my son out to the Stomp soft play. Clean, tidy and really good for under 7s.

Also had snacks which were well priced and service was fast and friendly.

Followed this up with an impromptu Dine with its great vibe and high quality burgers.

The staff were outstanding

We will be back with more people to try the bowling and other facilities

Recently been taken over and redecorated to a amazing standard. Great place for the kids and family. Great food, lovely staff. Play area and bowling to keep the kids happy � will definitely tell friends and will be back

Last weekend I booked JR’s for my martial arts school. Every single student and parent thoroughly enjoyed themselves. I’ve had loads of PMs from parents saying how well organised the whole day was and how much they enjoyed their time with you.



We had a booking of 34 children, all to play in stompers, to have an hours worth of bowling and then a hot meal afterwards. We then had 38 parents in attendance where 20 of them had hot food as well. There were no complaints and all 58 plates of food where gratefully received! I may of had to help them run food out, but A - I wanted to and B - it was hilarious for the kids and parents to see their martial arts instructor serving food �. So I didn’t mind at all.



It was organised really well from start to finish and the 70+ customers all left happy. I will be organising another party in a few months and would definitely consider coming back.



My only slight niggle is that I found it quite difficult to book such a large group as every time I called regarding the booking I spoke to someone different who all said slightly different things... I’d of found it a lot easier if there was a designated booking assistant and I only dealt with that one person. I know it’s hard with days off and working hours etc. But that was a minor detail when I seen my students and their parents have such a great day and in light of anything else... that’s all that matters �.

I had my son and daughters birthday party here today. They had such a fantastic time. none of them stopped playing from the second they got there to when it was ready to eat. There was more then enough food to go around which was great for 12 hungry children. The host was really nice and always popped by to check that we had everything or if needed anything. Will definately be coming back and certainly wont hesitate to book again for a party in the near future! Thank you so much!!!

Great place with a lot on offer. Friendly staff and prices were good value. Love the lanes - probably the best place to bowl and grab a bite to eat. Will defo be back.

Time in stompers needs to be longer - 45mins play and 45mins bowling would be better.



Birthday Cake after food makes much more sense and is kind of normal i thought?!



The 'party' area in STOMP is horrid and not needed for all parties, for STOMP, STRIKE and DINE it definately isn't. Id have preferred to just sit in normal seats where i could see the play area, we couldnt see a single bit of it behind the yellow plastic thing.



Menu options ate into the already short STOMP party time so need to be done prior to party or maybe while they are bowling as it wouldnt prevent them carrying on with their activity.

Up until now i have have had little to complain about. But after my visit today i have been left feeling rather p'd off. I was charged for my Daughter to enter Stomp. She is 1.5. I was charged £4 for her! I haven't payed for her in the past. No one has said any different until today.

I understand paying for my Son who is 4.5. I was charged £5 for him.

But having to pay for my Daughter who can't use much without me being with her seems stupid. Other atttactions have an under 2 free admission. So why don't Stomp?! I then bough myself & a friend a hot chocolate each. £5 So i spent £14 in 2 transactions. May not seem alot to some. But to me these prices seem rather over priced. Has left me feeling like i won't be in a hurry to return

I’ve eaten here for lunch and it was fab, this was the second time I’ve eaten here but first for breakfast and I’m actually quite disappointed! I have to back up everything my friend says, to pay £5 for pancakes I could have done at home for less than a couple of quid was disgusting! They didn’t even hide the fact they were microwaved as they did it in front of us at the bar and then sat them on the side for 10 mins so was utterly pointless � I understand the staff were busy but finish serving the first table drinks and the hot water they asked for before serving everyone else! As a mum I know how stressful it can be trying to soothe a baby but not being able to give her what she wants because we were waiting for the hot water for her bottle! Thoroughly disappointed as I was quite looking forward to breakfast. Won’t be doing that again

Have used the soft play and bowling numerous times but today we ate in the restaurant for the first time, we had two full breakfasts and the pancakes. So disappointed, the pancakes were out of a packet and heated in the microwave, I use the term heated loosely as they sat on the side for ten minutes waiting for the breakfasts to be done, by the time we had our food everything was cold. We also had to ask 3 times for hot water to warm my 4 month olds bottle which left her getting very antsy. We didn’t bother to make a complaint when in there purely as we had two 3 year olds in tow who would not have sat there whilst waiting for our breakfasts again. Although honestly wouldn’t have taken the risk that they would’ve just been reheated such a shame.

Dear Bruce, if you want families to have a great experience and return in stomp please invest in air conditioning. Air conditioning is in the gym and in the bowling area so please could you put in the soft play all modern soft play have air conditioning. It really was unbearable fir children today so we left and met our friends elsewhere because of the heat. Sorry but we like JRs and Stomp but not the heat best wishes The Ward family

Very dissapointed in the food we recieved today, will not be eating here again. We had a party of 8 adults and 5 children and not one us was happy with our meals. The meals were not brought to the table at the same time, having to wait 10 minutes at least between meals. 2 people had finished their meals before half of the children even had their. We had some very unhappy children!! One meal had to be returned twice, once because the burger was uncooked and still had blood in. The rest of the burgers were either dry or burnt, it tasted as though they had been precooked and reheated!

Today it was really busy but whilst my eldest was at a birthday party (also at JR's) I took my youngest into the play area (specifically into the under 4's). She is 2 and I had to pay £4 for her to go in. There was no control from any staff to control who went in the under 4's area. It clearly recommends under 4's but yet older children decided it was OK to swing from the top bar which is also the exit for the under 4's from the use of their slide. On two occasions my youngest had a near miss. After telling the staff at the cafe/registration area, still no attention was made. So the third and final time of me making the team aware someone came and stayed for about 1 minute and told a few children not to be in there but again as soon as they went it happened again. I couldn't take my eyes off her for a second in case she got hurt. I decided then to make my 2 year old wait outside for her sister to finish. Not a great experience, definitely will not be coming back any time soon.

Paid 42 quid for a crap meal and crap service, food was cold, buns were dry the lady didn’t even ask if we wanted any sauces or anything. We complained about our meal at the end and they still charged us the full amount after stating they had good reviews which after checking this isn’t the case, just gave us an awful look not even an apology, very annoyed and disappointed.

I'm very disappointed to have to write this.....today my daughter had her 6th birthday party at Stomps (this is the 4th party we've had there) and the staff/service was absolutely appalling!!! The birthday cake was brought out before the children had eaten and it was done in such a hasty manner we barely got time to take any photos!! Next, the food was brought out and just left at the end of the table, not distributed!! The 'unlimited squash' was empty and 'party host' nowhere to be seen, resulting in me queuing up at the food counter to get it refilled! The children had all well and truly finished their food and were becoming restless so I had to ask for the desserts!! At the end of the party none of the children received a balloon to take home and when I questioned it the member of staff looked very vacant!!! Finally, I had to ask for a return visit voucher for the party child!! Not once did we get asked if everything was ok during the party and didn't get a thank you or goodbye on departure!! This came as such a disappointment to us. The other parties we've had here have been so good. The party host has always been very high profile throughout and couldn't do enough for you!! I will definately have to question whether to return in the future???!!!

I took my son this morning who has a dairy allergy and was extremely disappointed with snack selection for him. The only snacks he could have were Pom bear crisps, Pringles or a piece of fruit!!! He also loves to share my tea which he was unable to do as there was no soya milk or dairy free milk alternative. I would have thought with the amount of people who have allergies now a days this would have been better.

I also found that when helping my son climb on the equipment it was not very clean at all!!! It was sticky and in places you could see it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Can definitely say I won’t be taking my son again �

My only slight niggle is that I found it quite difficult to book such a large group as every time I called regarding the booking I spoke to someone different who all said slightly different things... I’d of found it a lot easier if there was a designated booking assistant and I only dealt with that one person. I know it’s hard with days off and working hours etc. But that was a minor detail when I seen my students and their parents have such a great day and in light of anything else... that’s all that matters �.

I had my son and daughters birthday party here today. They had such a fantastic time. none of them stopped playing from the second they got there to when it was ready to eat. There was more then enough food to go around which was great for 12 hungry children. The host was really nice and always popped by to check that we had everything or if needed anything. Will definately be coming back and certainly wont hesitate to book again for a party in the near future! Thank you so much!!!

Great place with a lot on offer. Friendly staff and prices were good value. Love the lanes - probably the best place to bowl and grab a bite to eat. Will defo be back.

Had my little boys birthday party at JR's yesterday. All in all a fab time. Party host Jodie was brilliant and stayed with the kiddies for most of the party making sure they had all they needed � not all staff were as lovely/polite/helpful as she was �



Negatives:



Time in stompers needs to be longer - 45mins play and 45mins bowling would be better.



Birthday Cake after food makes much more sense and is kind of normal i thought?!



The 'party' area in STOMP is horrid and not needed for all parties, for STOMP, STRIKE and DINE it definately isn't. Id have preferred to just sit in normal seats where i could see the play area, we couldnt see a single bit of it behind the yellow plastic thing.



Menu options ate into the already short STOMP party time so need to be done prior to party or maybe while they are bowling as it wouldnt prevent them carrying on with their activity.



Positives:



Jodie was brilliant!



Food, was as usual, really really good and kids ate it all! Choice was good, and it was all fresh and well presented.



STOMP was quiet, clean, STRIKE was the same. Plenty of space for the children to enjoy their game, help to bowl properly and time to enjoy it without rushing on.



Balloons and voucher are a nice extra i didnt know about �



Jodie dealt with the cake etc so i literally had time to enjoy it all rather than having to sort things out.



My little boy had a brilliant time, so did his friends!

Bowling prices are way too much and nearly got overcharged. Also there not much on menu which I have seen normal and plain for children like u used to do for stompers originally so it put me off bit

Up until now i have have had little to complain about. But after my visit today i have been left feeling rather p'd off. I was charged for my Daughter to enter Stomp. She is 1.5. I was charged £4 for her! I haven't payed for her in the past. No one has said any different until today.

I understand paying for my Son who is 4.5. I was charged £5 for him.

But having to pay for my Daughter who can't use much without me being with her seems stupid. Other atttactions have an under 2 free admission. So why don't Stomp?! I then bough myself & a friend a hot chocolate each. £5 So i spent £14 in 2 transactions. May not seem alot to some. But to me these prices seem rather over priced. Has left me feeling like i won't be in a hurry to return

I’ve eaten here for lunch and it was fab, this was the second time I’ve eaten here but first for breakfast and I’m actually quite disappointed! I have to back up everything my friend says, to pay £5 for pancakes I could have done at home for less than a couple of quid was disgusting! They didn’t even hide the fact they were microwaved as they did it in front of us at the bar and then sat them on the side for 10 mins so was utterly pointless � I understand the staff were busy but finish serving the first table drinks and the hot water they asked for before serving everyone else! As a mum I know how stressful it can be trying to soothe a baby but not being able to give her what she wants because we were waiting for the hot water for her bottle! Thoroughly disappointed as I was quite looking forward to breakfast. Won’t be doing that again

Have used the soft play and bowling numerous times but today we ate in the restaurant for the first time, we had two full breakfasts and the pancakes. So disappointed, the pancakes were out of a packet and heated in the microwave, I use the term heated loosely as they sat on the side for ten minutes waiting for the breakfasts to be done, by the time we had our food everything was cold. We also had to ask 3 times for hot water to warm my 4 month olds bottle which left her getting very antsy. We didn’t bother to make a complaint when in there purely as we had two 3 year olds in tow who would not have sat there whilst waiting for our breakfasts again. Although honestly wouldn’t have taken the risk that they would’ve just been reheated such a shame.

Dear Bruce, if you want families to have a great experience and return in stomp please invest in air conditioning. Air conditioning is in the gym and in the bowling area so please could you put in the soft play all modern soft play have air conditioning. It really was unbearable fir children today so we left and met our friends elsewhere because of the heat. Sorry but we like JRs and Stomp but not the heat best wishes The Ward family

Very dissapointed in the food we recieved today, will not be eating here again. We had a party of 8 adults and 5 children and not one us was happy with our meals. The meals were not brought to the table at the same time, having to wait 10 minutes at least between meals. 2 people had finished their meals before half of the children even had their. We had some very unhappy children!! One meal had to be returned twice, once because the burger was uncooked and still had blood in. The rest of the burgers were either dry or burnt, it tasted as though they had been precooked and reheated!

Today it was really busy but whilst my eldest was at a birthday party (also at JR's) I took my youngest into the play area (specifically into the under 4's). She is 2 and I had to pay £4 for her to go in. There was no control from any staff to control who went in the under 4's area. It clearly recommends under 4's but yet older children decided it was OK to swing from the top bar which is also the exit for the under 4's from the use of their slide. On two occasions my youngest had a near miss. After telling the staff at the cafe/registration area, still no attention was made. So the third and final time of me making the team aware someone came and stayed for about 1 minute and told a few children not to be in there but again as soon as they went it happened again. I couldn't take my eyes off her for a second in case she got hurt. I decided then to make my 2 year old wait outside for her sister to finish. Not a great experience, definitely will not be coming back any time soon.

Paid 42 quid for a crap meal and crap service, food was cold, buns were dry the lady didn’t even ask if we wanted any sauces or anything. We complained about our meal at the end and they still charged us the full amount after stating they had good reviews which after checking this isn’t the case, just gave us an awful look not even an apology, very annoyed and disappointed.

I'm very disappointed to have to write this.....today my daughter had her 6th birthday party at Stomps (this is the 4th party we've had there) and the staff/service was absolutely appalling!!! The birthday cake was brought out before the children had eaten and it was done in such a hasty manner we barely got time to take any photos!! Next, the food was brought out and just left at the end of the table, not distributed!! The 'unlimited squash' was empty and 'party host' nowhere to be seen, resulting in me queuing up at the food counter to get it refilled! The children had all well and truly finished their food and were becoming restless so I had to ask for the desserts!! At the end of the party none of the children received a balloon to take home and when I questioned it the member of staff looked very vacant!!! Finally, I had to ask for a return visit voucher for the party child!! Not once did we get asked if everything was ok during the party and didn't get a thank you or goodbye on departure!! This came as such a disappointment to us. The other parties we've had here have been so good. The party host has always been very high profile throughout and couldn't do enough for you!! I will definately have to question whether to return in the future???!!!

I took my son this morning who has a dairy allergy and was extremely disappointed with snack selection for him. The only snacks he could have were Pom bear crisps, Pringles or a piece of fruit!!! He also loves to share my tea which he was unable to do as there was no soya milk or dairy free milk alternative. I would have thought with the amount of people who have allergies now a days this would have been better.

I also found that when helping my son climb on the equipment it was not very clean at all!!! It was sticky and in places you could see it hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. Can definitely say I won’t be taking my son again �
