My studies covered all aspects of massage, remedial massage, soft tissue techniques, anatomy and physiology, biomechanics, postural assessment and the management of clients in a professional, clinical environment.

I treat clients who have musculoskeletal injury, pain or dysfunction caused by any of life's stresses and from all walks of life.

Although sport is a common factor with many of my clients symptoms, it is far from being the only issue I deal with.

Soft Tissue Therapy integrates three essential clinical elements:

Assessment

Applying a range of assessment methods to determine whether Soft Tissue Therapy is appropriate and devise a suitable treatment plan for the individual client.

Treatment

Applying a range of soft tissue techniques (including massage) to aid recovery from injury and improve soft tissue condition and joint mobility.

Rehabilitation

Offering advice on a range of remedial exercises and lifestyle factors aimed at speeding up recovery, preventing injury recurrence as well as improving posture, performance and function.

I also have taping capabilities and qualifications from Kinesio Taping Association International.

Went to see John today after suffering with a painful ankle for over a week, not being able to run and struggling at work as a scaffolder something needed to be done.



John is a very knowledgable man and explained everything that was happening and gave me an understanding of why the pain was happening.



I was sent home after a massage with instructions on some aftercare that I can do to help this problem ease.

Went to see John this am after having a painful hip after running. He explained that it was coming from.my leg muscle and done some ouchy work on it. Yes I did grit my teeth. But oh boy it has helped so much. I'm Now strapped up with lots of exercises and rolling to do. Oh and to drink more water. I would go back in an instant if the pain doesn't go or a develop any more problems. He explained everything from start to finish. I would 100% recommend him to my fellow runners and friends.

I went to see John this afternoon and really felt him getting to work on my back, highlighting areas I didn’t even realise had issues. He explained exactly what he was doing at each stage and the session didn’t feel rushed at all. The best bit was that on the way home, I turned to look at traffic on the roundabout and could stretch far enough to see it properly!

I have seen John twice now , both times he released a lot of tension in my shoulders and neck ( also in places I was unaware of even having tension )

I visited John due to an injury that had extended into tennis elbow. With the pressures of my job the pain soon became too much. John soon had me back on track with kinetic tape and a rehab programme, and now I can carry out everyday tasks in comfort

I have been going to Core club since November last year. After I had a back issue last year I decided that I needed to work on my core to strengthen that up. That was not the main reason. I am an avid Stand Up Paddle boarder and are on my board in the summer more than at home.

I have registered for several events and I knew from last season’s experience that I needed to get a stronger core, and in general.

The home work is fun but challenging, you can do the home work more or less anywhere, I do it in my living room and other spaces in the house if need be. Doing the home work can be challenging with other stuff, that goes on in life, but it is worth it.

Some of the home work is hard, some exercises are easy and some are in the middle. After several months participating you will see a change in your body shape.

In the meetings John, Helen and Martin are there to support us. Also outside the meetings the support is great.

I see it all as a big adventure, in making me a better and stronger paddler.

Would I recommend Core club, hell yes.

It is exciting and fun. :-)

I dislocated my shoulder and wanted to get back to normal as quickly as possible, without taking risks. The hospital asked me to just draw circles in the air and my first physio appointment was more than two weeks after my incident (UDI).

Before my first booked physio appointment I saw John twice and had progressed a long way. After three weeks I was able to run a marathon pain free and I played 18 holes of golf in three and a half weeks. This would not have happened without John.

I will always pay and get back to normal as quickly as possible, partly because I want to get back obviously, but also because I want to limit any long term damage as much as possible.

I think the loyalty scheme is a great idea, genius in fact!

I developed plantar fasciitis in my right foot last June, I stopped running as it was way to painful. I had a number of reflexology sessions and whilst it felt good after each session was still painful whilst running. I was then recommended by a friend to see John, he talked me through the condition and gave me some exercises to work through and taped my foot. Being a pessimist I was sceptical to say the least. However about 4 weeks after seeing John I decided to go for a run to see how it was and was pleasantly surprised, despite having a dull ache my foot seemed loads better. I continued with the exercises and continued to keep in contact with John on my progress and advice. I can now say my foot has made a full recovery after only having 1 session. I would highly recommend John, not only does he know his stuff but he's always at the end of the phone to ask for help and advice. Thanks John!!

I can't recommend John enough! I've been training for a marathon and gradually developed increasing tightness through my calf which was hindering my training and causing me discomfort.



I have only had one session with John so far and the pain has completely gone after a really good massage, and loads of helpful stretches / posture tips.



Great service too as he came to my house which is massively helpful when you have small kids to worry about.

After starting my new less active job and recovering from an operation I started experiencing very painful,tight hamstrings and Achilles. Once it started affecting my sleep I called John and within the first few minutes of my session he knew what it was.

An hour later I was starting my road to recovery. My homework he has given me is going to plan and I can’t thank him enough.

However after several months of persistent and regular exercise, I have now noticed a definite improvement so John's advice was correct and his faith in me never wavered despite the lack of faith in myself! I can't recommend John enough! I've been training for a marathon and gradually developed increasing tightness through my calf which was hindering my training and causing me discomfort.



I have only had one session with John so far and the pain has completely gone after a really good massage, and loads of helpful stretches / posture tips.



Great service too as he came to my house which is massively helpful when you have small kids to worry about.



So glad I made time to fit in an appointment! Thanks John

I can highly recommend John Reynolds,

After starting my new less active job and recovering from an operation I started experiencing very painful,tight hamstrings and Achilles. Once it started affecting my sleep I called John and within the first few minutes of my session he knew what it was.

An hour later I was starting my road to recovery. My homework he has given me is going to plan and I can’t thank him enough.

I came to see John after fearing I had a ankle injury. He immediately put my mind at rest and said it’s not an injury just weak muscles following a long summer away from training or running. He explained everything about why my pain was there and taped my leg. The relief was immediate and I saw him for a repeat taping today !!! I am running and it’s feeling great.

Been seeing John for various injuries, aches and pains for the last couple of years and cant speak highly enough. Family and friends also been to see John and all extremely happy with the results from sciatica, back pain and injury.

At first I didn't believe John's insistence that regular rehab exercise would improve the condition of my knee and expected him to wave a magic wand for immediate improvement! However after several months of persistent and regular exercise, I have now noticed a definite improvement so John's advice was correct and his faith in me never wavered despite the lack of faith in myself!
