We love Just Kidding, it’s always really clean, the food is nice & the staff are all so lovely. Jade especially always goes out of her way to make everyone feel welcome. She is warm & friendly & always has a little chat with everyone...she even remembers the children’s names which is so nice. It’s both our sons favourite place in the whole world & they both ask to visit daily!

We have been today 1.4.18 as we were invited to a party. Unfortunately we missed the party as had one previously and got stuck in traffic. However they still let my daughter go into to play free of charge and let her have a party punch balloon. So just wanted thank Monique and the just kidding team for making my daughters afternoon.

We attended a birthday party yesterday which was handled soooo very amazingly by our host Caitlin (sorry if i spelt her name wrong). She was enthusiastic, understanding and met the needs of the customer without fail. She went above and beyond to the point i had to ask her name as i was adamant i was going to review her. Nothing was too much trouble for her and the kids loved her energy. I hope they give her Employee of the Month if they do it. She deserves it hands down ÔøΩ

Visited today with my 1 year old and really enjoyed our visit. The baby area is brilliant for my girl as she is not much of a dare devil but it was enjoyable for her and she loved the ball blower. We stayed for lunch and the prawn salad I had was lovely and fresh as was my girls cheesy oatcake. I had forgotten cutlery when the lady brought the food and she kindly went to get it for me so I didn’t have to leave my girl alone. Great visit, we will be back

User

This was my first time here, took my grandson who is only 2. I must say the staff were friendly even if you were waiting they made sure to notice you and got to you as soon as they could. I thought the place looked very clean plenty of tables and chairs. I must say we enjoyed it and will go back.

User

Sat in Just Kidding at the minute with 2 children and really cannot fault the service we have recieved. Fast service, lovely staff who are more than willing to help out wherever they can.. they really have gone above and beyond today. 5* place, 5* service, 5* food. Perfect.

User

I had my little girls 5th birthday party here today. It was brilliant. Literally perfect from start to finish. Isabelle and her friends loved every second. And she felt so special on her throne for her birthday feast. The food was lovely. And was just enough no waste. Our party planner was lovely. And the mascot was brill and all the kids loved him. Thanks for making it completely stress free and fun. Will defo be booking again next year. ÔøΩ

User

Fantastic place to take little ones, my little boys loves it ÔøΩ. I find it is the best in Stoke on Trent as it is exceptionally clean, staff are so friendly and approachable. Jade T, Natalia, Caitlin, Carley and all the rest of the staff could not do enough for us and go above and beyond to make our visits a great experience. On our visits we always eat and the food is always fresh colourful and presented well and tasty - worth what they cost definitely.

I have seen some bad reviews on here but they don’t actually ring true. I watch my children as the staff are not there for that, this I see seems to be a misconception that people put on there reviews, it is not a nursery . I will continue to take my boys here as it is a safe and welcoming enviroment.

Well done to the JK Team your all doing a fantastic job ÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩÔøΩ

Brilliant place for kids of all ages! We had a little accident (no fault of the venue at all) and were treated very well. Highly experienced first aid attending immediately and make the situation easier. Thank you. Highly recommended

Been here loads and always enjoyed it, but went again yesterday an amazing experience, mainly down to Carly (I'm hoping I've spelt it right!) she was brilliant with my little girl and her fear of hand driers! Brilliant place to visit ÔøΩ

-We always come all the time anyway but we had my step daughter's birthday here aswell as my brothers today and both times were amazing. Very good value for the money. They accommodate you with anything you need. We had Caitlin as our party host for both times and she really is amazing. Especially with the children. I hope she gets recognition from the managers at how well she does. I recommend anyone to ask for her when they book a party as I will be doing the same in future. Well done for another amazing party Caitlin! Xx

Had a brilliant time for my little boys birthday party today all the kids loved every minute of it and the staff were so helpful. Thank you all and thank you jade for hosting a great party ÔøΩ ÔøΩÔøΩ

User

Great place to take the kids staff were really friendly only thing I didn’t really like was there were older kids like 6/7 year olds running around the toddler area nearly knocking my 2 year over several times and upsetting her, I think staff should enforce the age restrictions more especially at busy times to ensure no one gets hurt

As previously, we enjoyed our trip to J.K. a week last Friday - and thoroughly enjoyed the music session, which was very enthusiastically delivered. However, our visit didn't start well as I went with a Childminder - as am I. She wasn't asked for her Registration Certificate but when I commented that I'm a Childminder the member of staff went to consult a colleague, without comment to me, and I was left waiting while they looked at me and had a whispered conversation behind hands until I offered my Registration Certificate. The reasoning behind her not asking the Childminder I was with was because she remembered her from the previous Friday (though on that occasion she wasn't asked for her Certificate and she hadn't been to J.K. for some time). The Childminder following me in wasn't asked for her Registration Certificate either, yet I always have to produce mine - even when I took the children in my care twice in one week! The only reason I can see for this is that I'm older than a lot of Childminders so there was, no doubt, some AGEISM going on - and certainly no understanding of exercising a non-discriminatory practice. This needs to be addressed.

User

Very mixed views about our visit here. First the good. Although it was really busy we had a quick entry and the lady who welcomed us and took our payment was really friendly and took time to make a fuss of our little one. First impressions were that it was clean and lots of fun-looking things going on. We went over to the baby area and started to play with our daughter. There wasn't loads for her to do but at 8 months old the options are bound to be limited so fair enough and for the price we had paid it was perfectly adequate. The problem was that although the baby area was for ages 0-2 there were a lot of much older children in there and having 5+ year olds bounding round with babies is not safe especially as it isn't massively spacious in that section. I was also not too amused at older children throwing balls in at my little one as they walked past the baby area. I know they are kids and are there to let off steam and have fun but there needs to be more focus on safety especially around the teeny tiny tots. The age limits need to be properly enforced and also some of the parents who let their kids run riot need to be told by staff to pay more attention. It's not really somewhere I would want to return to. In fairness it's the first time we've been to a soft play centre so I don't have any other experience to compare it to and so can't say if it's better or worse than other similar places.

JK isn’t up there in my list of things to do with my children but they love it. We arrived just after midday and it was very busy but we got straight in. Service was good on entry. Using my initiative I decided to order lunch almost as soon as we arrived, my decision was based on how busy it was and managing my children’s expectations to eat. Customer service was good on ordering. I waited for near on an hour for our scrambled egg on toast and two Jacket potatoes. I enquired how long our food would be and was told that there was an hour wait, I asked why I wasn’t told this on ordering...then the decision was mine to make whether to wait or not. The staff member didn’t know, but was the one who served me. I was then told that my order hadn’t been started yet and would be 15 minutes. I was offered a food refund, not ideal when entry has been paid and my children needed lunch, albeit I could have made the decision to leave and eat elsewhere. I was then offered a small fruit pot which I was grateful for, as were my children. A further 15 minutes passed and still no food. I enquired again & a different staff member went to check on my order. The manager then appeared, he was very apologetic, staff had let them down, it was very busy etc. He was very apologetic and offered a food refund once again, I explained that I didn’t need a refund, only for my children to eat. He got it and was empathetic, left for the kitchen and my food appeared a short while later. In between time, I’d also mentioned to staff about the lack of toilet rolls, I revisited the toilet before leaving and they were in the same state. My review of ‘it was ok’ is based on this experience, lack of communication with customers and lack of action. My girls thoroughly enjoyed themselves and the manager handled it in the best way he could.

I visited on 2nd January with my two children. I knew it was going to be busy, which it was. Staff were well organised on arrival. I ordered food straight away as we were hungry. The lady said it would be an hour's wait. An hour and half later we still had no food. My children were starving. The staff were very polite and such hardworking people and it was lack of kitchen staff that was the problem for the food delay. When I was telling them I would have to leave and get a refund our food arrived and I'll have to admit I was very disappointed in what we had. My potato was so dry and lacking in beans. The children's meals were poor too. Such a shame. The place needed more staff as due to amount of people the toilets suffered cleanliness and tables needed clearing. I'm sure this place is great on a less busy day. Please employ more staff on extremely busy days. Credit to the very hardworking staff though.

User

Took my boys to just kidding yesterday I didn't know it was closing at 5 we got there for 4 o'clock they charged me for 2 hour stay but they only had a hour play I'm not very happy at all

User

Treated like a second class citizen when we walked in. Half way through serving us a party guessed arrived and despite the fact they were being seen to by another member of staff, the lady serving us completely ignored me and started chatting to the birthday group. After about a minute I had to ask if she could perhaps let the other lady continue to look after that group and finish serving us. On top of the entry price the £28 worth of food was awful. I have never seen a 4.95 kids meal come with one sausage. Which was dry and clearly been sitting under heat lamps for ages. Just Kidding is Massively over priced and not a great experience. I Had been considering this place as a birthday venue but after how I was treated on entering I would not dream of coming again.

This was my first time here, took my grandson who is only 2. I must say the staff were friendly even if you were waiting they made sure to notice you and got to you as soon as they could. I thought the place looked very clean plenty of tables and chairs. I must say we enjoyed it and will go back.

ÔøΩ
