As you all know, Christmas is around the corner. The schools will be closing earlier on their last day of term and we will change our afternoon departure times to fall in line with the early closing times.

UPDATE FOR CHADWELL ST MARY PASSENGERS - 7A TO ST CLERE'S ACADEMY ... Due to the increase in cars parked in Rigby Gardens in the morning, we have decided that we are now unable to park our bus early for students to sit on board waiting for the set off time. From now on the bus will pick up at the scheduled time 07:55 at the bus stop on Brentwood Road. This is unfortunate but we have no choice, turning around and parking in Rigby Gardens has become very difficult.

7A Rigby Gardens to St Clere's Bus ..... Looking at the bus stop this morning, it was very busy. We are going to try parking the bus in Rigby Gardens at 07:50 so that students can board the bus when they arrive at the bus stop. We have spoken to some residents and they are OK about it, but we must ask parents to not park in the entrance to Rigby Gardens, so we have space for the bus.

FIRST DAY NERVES
It was our first day back at school this morning and a new bus route, the 7C as well. Were glad to report that apart from running a little late, due to first day enquiries, and one or two passengers at the wrong stops, all buses got to school on time. We were unable to give all bus passes out, due time restraints, but we will hand all outstanding bus passes to the students this afternoon.

Today is the last day for bus fare payments to be received so that your bus passes can be issued in time for the start of school tomorrow.

Attention all St Clere’s year 8 and above students.
St Clere’s is having a staggered start again this year and for the first time Keane Travel will be running the 7A twice in the morning. Therefore if your start time at school on Wednesday only is 11:00, then you can get the later bus which is due to arrive at school at 10:40.
The second bus will run exactly 2hrs 30mins later than the usual times. i.e. if your usual pick up time is 07:45, then your later pick up time will be 10:15. Please take a look at the 7A timetable https://keanetravel.co.uk/school-trips-bu ses/ so that you can work out your time for the second bus at your usual bus stop.

Final revisions are being made for the new bus route time tables 7A St Clere’s, 7B Hassenbrook and 7C Gable Hall for the coming academic year. Watch this space and check the time table for your school next week. Please remember to set up your standing order to start 28th August.

The first open evening attended at Gable Hall School this week and we are pleased to say that the response to the new bus route has been fantastic. Thank you to all of you who came to see us and also to Gable Hall School for allowing bus to attend. It's time to get the ball rolling. The route hasn't been decided yet, but it will include Chafford Hundred, Grays, Tilbury, Chadwell St Mary and Stanford Le Hope. Friday 20th April 2018 – Introducing our latest addition to the fleet. A Scania 80 seat double deck bus. All seats have seat belts and this bus boasts an ultra smooth gearbox, more suited for distance travel. Making this bus available for private hire and school bus routes

Sunday 24th March 2018 - No expected delays, looking forward to the coming week. Remember that our schools will close early this Thursday afternoon and we will run our buses to fit in with the earlier times

Sunday 18th March 2018 - Looking ahead, the weather should warm up slightly. Therefore we expect all bus routes to run as per usual this coming week

Wednesday 14th March 2018 – Roadworks on A128 Brentwood Road, adding a few minutes to the 007 journey each day, but not too bad at the moment

Friday 9th March 2018 – Another week of school runs and day trips completed without delays. No reported incidents looking forward to next week 😀

7th March 2018 - 16:50. All bus services completed. That started on time, but all were delayed by about 20 minutes. Lets hope it's all back to normal tomorrow

Wednesday 7th March 2018 – Major road closure A13 east & west bound, may cause a delay for Hassenbrook, St Clere’s and William Edwards Schools this afternoon. We will keep you posted
