User

We just got home from a 3 night stay, our first time here. What a wonderful campsite! We had the most amazing time. The pool was great! The toilets /showers were very clean. The site is very well kept. The kids loved the park and the pond. The steam train to sherringham was really good would recommend it. And the pop up food tents are good. Will definitely be back!

User

We have been coming here for almost 20 years ,which I think says it all really, great place to relax or get the bikes out and go for a ride around the park

User

This place is fantastic the yellow and red shower blocks are mint, lovely area and very relaxing!!!

The blue shower block is dated but I’ve never stayed in the blue area.

The village centre has all you need with a excellent shop.

I’ve never eaten at the restaurant or bar but the pizzas are nice at the takeaway place.

User

The best holiday park in the UK. Fabulous area for walks, great location and well maintained site and facilities. Had holiday home here for five years and can't fault anything.. DRW

Myself and my family would like to say a massive thank you to everyone for your help and support yesterday 7th May after mum's fall on the path. A massive thank you to John the estate manager for spending 3hrs with us waiting for the ambulance to arrive and supplying bottles of water and snacks. Also to Nick and the girls who ferried pillows etc back and forth. I'd also like to thank the cyclist who went and raised the alarm, the GP who stopped to offer help and the lady who initially called for the ambulance and of course Emma the off duty Nurse and her husband who stayed by mum for the 3hrs and especially their 2 boys for being so patient.

Thanks also to everyone else who stopped by to ask if we needed help. Sorry but didn't get everyone's names.

Many many thanks from the Smith and Branson families.

My men and I wintered at Kelling Heath in '85. Lost almost half the goats to white wolves that stalked the camp at night, picking off the weaker beasts like the ripest berries plucked from a gorse bush.

But as it tends to do, winter became spring which in turn gave way to a summer more delightful that those long, heavy days I enjoyed as a boy. It's no wonder that the singers sing of Kelling Heath, and that travellers toast in endless succession to its wild, untouched plains.

User

Lovely site in a cracking location. Facilities are spot on. Staff were all cheerful and helpful. Once you've walked your socks off on the site itself there's loads more to see and do locally. The North Norfolk Railway is a must start for travelling further...there is a nice walk through the woods to the kelling heath request stop or keep walking following the line to Weybourn station ( don't take the road). Another thing worth noting is that Holt station is 1.5 miles from Holt - the buses are nice and regular though

The beach at Weybourn is a gravel one, but the walk along the cliff tops to Sheringham is enjoyable. We were here in early May and it was quite quiet..I've no doubt the site is hugely popular in the summer!

User

Just returned home from 2 nights camping with my husband and 3 children. We had travelled from Doncaster and it was definitely worth the 6 hour round trip! Very relaxing but lots to do at the same time. Nice facilities. The outdoor pool was a big hit with us. Reasonable prices in shop and pubs/restaurants. Will definitely be returning. Thank you Kelling Heath for a wonderful weekend.

User

Just came back from a long weekend camping. Set in a beautiful location. Very clean and tidy. Reception were great when my husband ran in with our little boy who had fallen off his bike and split his head open. They looked after him whilst he went to get our car to take him to hospital. Lots of nice walks to do. My children loved it. Definitely recommend and will return in the future

User

Has become a yearly visit to sample the beer festival and a lovely weekend had by all thank you will be back again next year

User

Great setting right on the heath, loads for kids to do, clean, great atmosphere, could do with another couple of table tennis tables and turning the ents down after 8.30 when little ones going to sleep but otherwise fab esp new showers? Coming back!

User

Fantastic place with everything you could ask for in a camping site, very clean and tidy and a great choice of on-site activities and a brilliant choice of pitches

User

Best place to be even in the rain like a mini center Parcs we love it 😍

User

If you want peace and quiet in the countryside you have bucket loads. If you want loads to do they have it. Walking. Cycling. Bird watching. Swimming. Close to the Norfolk coast. Restaurants on site. Food for a captive audience. Great pizzas take away or eat in. Expensive when you have a family to feed. The Forge we only ate there the one time again if you have a family way to expensive. Luckily a well stocked shop so camp side cooking.

Down side they dont give you much time to pack up on departure day. 10 o clock am is hard work. We left a night early so we had longer to pack up. 12 pm would be so much better especially if you have little ones.

User

Camped with my 7 year old daughter on her first camping experience. It was lovely, very clean and great facilities. Good location to explore beaches and she loved her boat trip to see the seals at Blakeney. It’s a bit pricey but would go again.

User

Beautiful location and park itself is very well maintained and clean. We were camping the pitches were lovely and all facilities were very clean and never struggled to find available facilities even though it was busy due to half term. My only issue was outdoor pool was closed and the cost to use the indoor pool is ridiculous so we didn’t bother. We hired bicycles from huff and puff who were great very helpful staff and had the most fun time exploring the site. Shop is over priced for essentials but food outlets were very reasonable and tasty enjoyed our stay thank you
