Used many times. Good quality fresh food and friendly and proffesional staff

User

They are simply the best. The owner is a great chap who ,although very busy(which is a good thing),has the time to talk to his customers and he and his staff always take on board any comments.Always very very good quality. If you have never been, then what are you waiting for?.Fantastic!!!.

User

Service was a bit slow, surely they just grab a fish out of the fryer? 20 minutes to get served. However it was worth the wait. The fish was top. Light crispy batter, not greasy, and the fish inside was tasty and perfectly cooked. Chips were good but not the best I've ever had. Overall, well worth a visit.

User

User

Great fish and Chips, freshly cooked and very tasty. Thank you

User

Firstly the location and view is perfect, as we sat chatting before our meal arrived we had a lovely view of the broads from our door step to our horizon. The staff are so friendly and welcoming, they went out of their way to accommodate my mum and engaged with my children! The food was great, fish was cooked perfectly and the price is good value for money and not too expensive as some have said, cheaper and far superior to some chain restaurants!! I will always recommend this restaurant. My mum suggested eating there today as she told me a story how she met Ken on a beach in Borneo! Please don't hesitate to try it out.

Best fish and chips in Norfolk. Staff are friendly and food is delicious. Highly recommend.

User

We ordered cod and chips and rock and chips with side orders of curry sauce and mushy peas to eat in( under the fan). Food took a while to arrive and didn’t look to be a big portion, but the fish was cooked well and we neither could manage all the chips. It was very expensive, a tin of Diet Coke was £1.55, and the girls serving had to keep checking the price list when totting up people’s bills. We did enjoy our meal, just a bit dear, but not everywhere serves rock nowadays so Ken’s will be my choice next time we visit.

User

Waiting 30 mins for fish and chips with no real queue. People came and went after us. Won't be returning

User

Although chips are nice..waited over half hr to get our meal..my chickem tasted like it had been cooked a few days ago and re-fryed making it dry. The codroe on my husbands plate looked dried out. Overall not a gd service..sorry to say

User

Very poor service received today , Sunday 13th September 2015. Young man serving in take away gave me a small cod and chips when I had actually ordered and paid £7.60 for a large cod, small chips , bread roll and diet coke can. The man behind me in the queue was served his fish and chips before me and got a large code and small chips. I saw the smile in his eye and realised I had been done. I will make sure the young man with dark hair is not in there serving if I go there again. Avoid if he is in there as he messes up people's orders!

User

Sadly Ken's has gone down hill since the last time we ate there. Dry fish, very poor cups of tea and coffee and just too pricey for the quality. I'm afraid that this will be the last time we go there.

User

Please do not respond to me in such a disgusting rude manner. I reported accurately what I found. I have heard NOTHING from EHO so do not assume anything.

Made the mistake of deciding to eat in the area out the back (We won’t call it a restaurant) instead of going for a takeaway and watching the world go by on the river. After a 30 minute wait having gone around the front to see what was going on, takeaway service was getting accommodated in minutes meanwhile 4 families totalling around 12 including young children and pensioners, waited waited and waited, how long do these people expect us to wait for fish and chips, anyway 40 mins in, asked for our money back, walked across the road had freshly cooked fish and served within 5 minutes, walked back passed Ken’s with our fish and chips to see the other families still waiting. Ken’s, get a grip of your customer service. The back of house area was totally neglected and I’m certain without us and another family complaining who knows how long the wait would have been.

User

I first thought the prices were a little over the top when we first sat down so expected excellent food, however what then transpired was far from bad let alone excellent! My sons saveloy was pretty rank to be honest, my fish and chips, bearing in mind it was £7.30, was tiny with a handful of chips (more worth £3.00 at a push), but worst of all my partners fish was full of water and not cooked (slippery fish, not white and not edible) but this wasn't taken away and gracefully replaced as it should have been, instead the waitress cane back to inform us it had been probed and was fine, we were wrong to say it was undercooked, they can overcook another piece of cod if we wanted them to (!!!!!!!!!!), instead my partner said he was totally put off and will settle for a bread roll and chips and a refund, low and behold we were charged for the replacement chips and also for the bread roll, and advised by the chef via the waitress that in future we should ask for 'fish well done' like it's a steak (!!!!!!)... shocked isn't the word for this place which is such a shame as it's location is lovely but Kens Fish and Chips simply spoils it... obviously we won't be back to be poisoned and patronised
