A new client to Kinki wanted some fresh inspiration for her tired look. Very thick hair graduated closely underneath and leaving some softness around the back and sides, then disconnected sliced through layers on top, creating a flatter shape yet rounded through the front. The colour was gently lifted by Norma to maintain condition and a gold and pink toner put through to reduce glow yet training warmth. Went to Kinki for the first time yesterday based on a recommendation from a friend. The experience was great. Hadrian performed a balayage on my hair, taking it from a mousy brown to a multi toned beautiful blonde. He explained every step of the process during both the consultation and throughout the appointment. He's a really friendly lovely guy and definitely helps you feel at ease and confident. The salon has a great atmosphere, very chilled. I was offered refreshments and magazines during the appointment and was even given some chips! I would absolutely recommend giving Kinki a try, you won't be disappointed! Thank you again to the team at a kinki, especially Hadrian x

Today I visited Craig at the Salon and was so glad I did! The highlights he did for me are great, he's given me my mojo back and I'm feeling 'fabulous' as he promised. Recently had my hair completely restyled here. After always having long hair I decided to chop it all off. I had the lovely Hadrian who made me feel very comfortable and relaxed. Due to having so much cut off and the complete change, after washing and drying my hair a couple of times there were a couple of bits of hair not quite sitting right, so I phoned and asked to come back to have those few bits sorted, with Hadrian again. I had the few bits trimmed and sorted exactly how I wanted and completely free of charge. Cannot fault the service in any way, absolutely brilliant!! Won't be using any other hairdressers now..

Norma coloured my hair and I couldn't be more pleased. She transformed my old brassy tired looking bayalage into a soft natural blend of gorgeous blonde. The outcome by far exceeded my expectations.

Kinki Boutique is just the best Salon in Norwich. I have been with them for years and Jason is a real artist, he knows my hair inside out and whatever style I choose, it is always perfect and just falls naturally and it is super easy to maintain, which is really important to me. Last Saturday I also brought my step daughter to the salon who wanted a drastic change to her long hair and he did of course an amazing job. Thank you so much Jason !!

Just had my hair completely transformed by the wonderful, Michelle. She took an idea from a photo straight on to my hair. It was a big deal as I had several inches taken off. She took me through the process of styling in an extra long appointment/tutorial. I would highly recommend this salon and stylist. For first time clients you get 30% off with a voucher and on leaving are given a 40% off for yourself and a friend. Xx

I’ve now had my hair cut three times (twice by Jason and once by Hadrian) and coloured twice (by Norma and Hadrian) at Kinki. Every time I’ve visited I have been put at ease. I feel confident that my hair is going to look great when I walk out.

I wasn’t completely sure what I wanted when I first walked in and Jason took the time to ask what my usual hair regime was so I didn’t get a cut I couldn’t maintain. I was really happy with that first cut and have been recommending Kinki to friends ever since.

I just had my wild hair tamed at long last! Thanks to Jason. My second time at Kinki Boutique & i still love it just as much. Everyone was rushed off their feet and yet still found the time to make me comfortable, laugh and chat whilst trying too see others, which i think is great as you can see the ammount of effort that is put in to keep everyone satisfied...

Also I personally find it difficult to allow people to cut my hair... but i have complete trust in Kinki Boutique to give you the best result. Its a shame these star ratings only go up to 5 � thank you so much, i look forward to booking another appointment soon.

I have just had a complete restyle with Jason and can honestly say it's the best haircut I have ever had. I showed Jason some pictures of what I had in mind and he used them as a guide to work with the texture of my hair to give me the best possible style. I have already booked my next appointment for a cut and colour and know I will come away looking and feeling great! All the staff are really friendly and professional, and I always have a laugh and great chats. Can't recommend highly enough. Thank you Jason :)

I am so glad I came to Kinkis to get my hair done!!! I walked in with hair I hated and didn't know what to do with, and left feeling like a completely different person! Craig was absolutely incredible from the beginning. We had a good chat about what I wanted and he gave me his professional opinion which helped me decide on what was best to do with my hair!! I went in with damaged and dry hair that was gingery red (due to previous hair dyes gone wrong) and after Craig done his magic, I was back to my natural brutnette colour with subtle highlights put through. I can't thank Craig enough for how amazing a job he done! I was so nervous as I'd never had my hair professionally dyed and styled, but he put me at ease and done an incredible job � 10/10!!

Great service from beginning to end. I had a lady who has only been there a week make me coffee, take my coat & bag & wash my hair - she was lovely, professional & even though she’s new to hairdressing felt experienced � I had Hadrian cut, blow dry and restyle my hair. I’ve not had it done in 3 years but he was great, respectful & has definitely made me want to return and use Kinki and Hadrian from now on! Top notch would definitely recommend. X

Came in this morning for a wash cut & blowdry with will who is training & im very happy with the result! My hair was quite long & i usually go for the same style when it comes to having it cut but the staff who were very friendly advised i went for something abit more modern which was graduated,& i really love the shape,alot easier to manage! 😀 very relaxed atmosphere i'll definately be coming back thankyou very much!!

As a touring actress it can be really hard to find a salon which matches up to my own salon back at home. Kinki did not disappoint! I double checked they use the same colour system as my hairdresser and, as I was a first time customer, I even got a discount! Really great start �

When I arrived I was greeted by really friendly staff and introduced to my stylist - the wonderful Hadrian! We talked through what I needed done - full head of blonde highlights and a tidy up trim. Hadrian explained he'd have to use one colour from my normal colour system (L'Oreal) and one colour from their usual Redken colour system, as they didn't have that colour in the L'Oreal range. I was a little apprehensive, as you would be when you get your hair done by someone new for the first time, but my worries were completely gone as soon as Hadrian stared working on my hair.

Hadrian is a fantastic stylist and married up the original colours on my hair to the new colour he'd put on, and even gave me shiatsu head massage when I was having my colour washed out! The colour ended up a beautiful light golden blonde and my cut is perfect - Hadrian chopped about an inch and a half off to make my hair healthy again and gave a really clean, slightly blunt finish - which I love! Fab 'rough' blow dry to finish really made the whole experience perfect.

Thank you so much to all at Kinki for making this actress', usually stressful, hair appointment away from my home salon one of the most relaxing and enjoyable experiences.

ACTORS - this guy is the one.

After not having my hair done for 6 months its needed a lot of work. Few inches off, full head foils, toner and a bit of tlc. The plan was to be in and out of the salon after 3 hours. Lukily my stylist had the patients of a saint and really took him time with me and gave me exactly what i wanted. Hadrian was really great to chat to and felt very comfortable in his capable hands. Will definitly be returning. I feel like a new woman �

I received a 50% off colour or cut text as not been in over 6 months. Called up said I wanted my roots done and if possible the bottom of my shoulder length hair lighter. How much I asked the girl so I no what to bring, maximum £110, making it £55 with offer, It took 4 hours 20 minutes!!

I got offered a drink and never got it, so an hour later I asked again. I sat there for what seemed like eternity then Hadrian checked colour and it was not developing quick enough so I went upstairs under the heater and was left on my own for ages. Finally foils off, then washed my hair in freezing cold water. Apparently it takes ages to come through upstairs so instead of waiting I had it cold. Which according to the girl it was nice as a hot day outside. (I wouldn't know as I'd been the 3.5 hours then) Hadrian asked how i wanted it dried so I said blow dried and straighteners through ends to curl. Ok no problem. Got out of hairdressers and lots of bits not enough curled.

But worst part was Hadrian trying to rip me off at the till. Said I had spring time offer, him mumbling under breath, saying he will honour it like he was doing me a favour when it was the offer they sent me. Then starting adding £25 and £10 and £105 etc till he said I owed £80! Making the total bill £160 for colour with no cut. What ?!? I explained I had asked the girl when booking how much. I was looked at like dirt on his shoe when he said I have to pay to have it blown dry as an extra, really? So you let people have a colour done for £110 and don't dry it. The add ons I was tried to be charged totalled to £50 extra. And I don't even know what for? £50 for a blow dry absolutely ridiculous. Then when I left I got a text from them telling me I'd missed my appointment when I'd clearly not. The colour is nice but to try and charge £160 for colour and blow dry is disgusting. Never Again awful customer service.

Unprofessional and rude management. The owner Jason is pathetic, rude and he questions his clients word. When the loyalty discount was to be applied for recommending people he found excuses not to do it! He embarrassed me in front of the entire salon. I was also told that if you do not come back within the 3 months of the last appointment you pay a fixed re-style price which added another £15 to previously agreed price.



In addition, a usual wait time is 30 minutes plus even with prebooked appointment!! Once, I had to wait over one hour with my hair wet while my stylist was working with another customer.



The salon is also misleading in its offers and prices. Do not recommend- spend money elsewhere, you might as well enjoy yourself!
