About Kis Quilting Ltd

We are a new fabric & quilting shop specialising in quality fabric and workshops in a friendly environment, website coming soon.

Kis Quilting Ltd Description

Kis Quilting is a new and local friendly patchwork and quilting shop, within easy reach of Ipswich, Suffolk and Essex. Run by Carole, Jenny, Lynn and Sue, we wanted to share our knowledge and passion for quilting and fabric with other like minded people in our relaxed and friendly workshop. Having met at a local quilting group, we had often talked about setting up a business and after many cups of coffee Kis Quilting was born!

We have an exciting range of fabrics to indulge your quilting projects and will be running a range of workshops to expand and develop your skills and creativity. We will be offering workshops for beginners, one off and ongoing projects and many other exciting classes for all levels of quilters including the more experienced patchworker. If you just fancy popping by with a new or unfinished project, a cuppa and a biscuit we have informal, relaxed drop-in sessions being run mornings, afternoons and evenings. Have a leisurely browse at our range of fabric and feel free to share ideas, get inspiration and help with all your quilting ideas.

For more information please call Kis Quilting on 01473 722888.

We are located on Ransomes Europark, opposite Makro, in the Basepoint Business units. There is free car parking available but on a Saturday the gates are closed so please call on 01473 722888 and we will welcome you in. Look forward to seeing you soon!

Hello quilty people, I hope you are enjoying todays sunshine. I thought you might like to see a pictures of some fantastic work, by Elaine who attends our beginners patchwork and quilting group this is a finished sampler quillow, we teach most of the blocks from Lynne Edwards Sampler book, this quilt is the first time Elaine has done any patchwork, don't you think it looks amazing.

Ladies we are going to have to `look to our laurels`!!!
Our first photo is Tom's quilt he made for his Mum last Xmas. Tom was 8 when he started about April time. He designed the pattern, chose the fabrics and only had a small amount of help from Grandma putting the blocks together.
Our second photo is another young man Chris (slightly older than Tom!) with his first quilt which he also designed himself.
... Excellent work to both young men. We look forward to seeing their next projects.

Helen Butcher’s Cubitz workshop was a great success, enjoyed by everyone who took part. As usual the choice of fabrics makes each sewers work so different despite all creating the same pattern. Photos to follow once the projects have been completed.Helen Butcher’s Cubitz workshop was a great success, enjoyed by everyone who took part.
