Kocurek Excavators Ltd. are currently seeking an experienced welder/ fabricator to join our team on a full time and permanent basis.
The candidate should have extensive experience in welding and fabrication of heavy plated parts and offer work of the highest quality.
The essential skills required for this role are:
... • Mig Welding of heavy steel parts and components • TIG welding would be an advantage but not essential • Must be Coded to BS EN 9606-1 • Must be able to work from, read and interpret engineering drawings • Understanding of pre-heat and post-heat treatments. • Experience in using all types of workshop equipment including, press brake, guillotine, and various power tools • Licences in the use of overhead cranes, forklifts and side loaders would be beneficial but not essential as full training will be given. • Working to tight schedules and agreed timescales • Must have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a welder/ fabricator in a heavy engineering environment • Must be able to work as part of a team and possess good interpersonal skills. • Must be flexible in relation to working requirements. • English must be first language. • Full UK Driving licence. • Salary is negotiable dependant on experience.
A welding test will be undertaken by candidates invited to interview.
