Aahhh.... T4’s!!! This is becoming a weekly repair in customers vehicles..... suppose they’re getting to that age!

Big changes at Kraftwerk HQ!!! Total Revamp of the workshop, new reception, kitchen, and new look to the whole outfit! Not quite finished yet, but a few pics here to whet ya appetite......

Nice little(!!) project in the workshop at the moment, aside from the other Restorations we’ve got going on, we’ve got this beautiful piece of VW Camper History! It’s a 1978 Jurgens Auto Villa, original low mileage(160,000 KM) all the way from South Africa! The Jurgen is in for mild Resto, consisting of pealing back the whole outer skin, repairing the Rotten timber with South African Hardwood, for longevity, and whilst were at it were improving the insulation material from ...polystyrene, to a more modern Kingspan/Celotex material. Improvements on the fuel tank system( twin tank) will be made with hard lines instead of old pvc pipes where possible, including the vapour trap lines running up both rear corners, and also improving the side vent drainage, to keep the timber inner skin away from any moisture! This is one of our own t25s 1.9dg it had previous engine work at a back street garage it was riddled with sealer, the cheaper option is not always best better to bite the bullet and pay for a specialist.

Basic engine rebuild on this 1300cc Single Port for a trike this week!

We have this little gem in for some paint work makes a lovely change from VWs, MG BGT V8 👌🏼🤙🏼

Chassis on Chris fritz’s 1976 Type 2 Bay has had Raptor Treatment tinted to his Colour! Looks good, and will protect it for a long long time!!took a lot of cleaning off, but think the final result speaks for itself!

Wondered why centre main bearing was loose in the seat..... on closer inspection, a hairline crack is the culprit!! Scrap!! Need a good used as41/21 case if anyone has one!

Just because someone offers you a cheap job on your pride and joy does not necessarily mean quality this bay has had a previous respray, as you can see not a good job! No paint removal products were used just a scraper!!

Great paint required??? Get down to Kraftwerk!!! 😎

Little bit of PgSg action going on recently... few metal repairs, bit of paint, and ageing where the new paint was needed so it still looked weathered! Love this van..... shame the new owners down under now have painted it PINK!!!! Aargh!! I know!!

Just custom Fabricated this towing Dolly for a customer so he can tow it down south behind his Motorhome! It’s quick release so no fumbling under the car! Nice little addition to any holiday this! Hope he gets out on the dunes this year!!🤙🏻

Top guys! real VW enthusiasts if your bus needs some TLC this is the place to be,

This is a heart warming feel good story. I can 100% recommend these guys & everything they stand for. We live in Western Australia & to tell you the truth its hard to get good tradesmen hear. So when we purchased a 1957 splitty we asked the previous owner if he new anyone who did fabrication & body repairs. Without any hesitation Kraftwerk Automotive. So with that we booked it in. Now beleave me with this bus it was love at first site. So to leave him with two big hairy strangers you can only imagine ! Well my brother dropped the bus off & since then we have been kept up todate near enough on a daily basis with pics. & phone calls Brilliant. From Sue & myself a massive big thanks for all the time, effort & love that you've put in to our bus. We hope to catch up in person to say thanks in June this year. ���

These guys do a great job. Both love VW's and are passionate about delivering a high standard. No short cuts, just quality work. My 68 beetle had dodgy paint, dodgy previous welding and plenty of rust. Now its beautiful and solid. Thanks guys.

These guys are superb, no job is too small, they go that extra mile to keep our old campers on the road.

The food was excellent with a varied menu and great vegetarian options. The self cook and serve format is very novel. The decor is a little utilitarian and the staff while friendly and knowledgeable on some subjects almost seemed unaware that they were working in a restaurant. I'm still not convinced by some of these nouvelle cuisine places, but this was such an interesting, almost strange, dining experience that I would happily go again. Recommended. Not licensed so byo bottle.

Really happy with my new exhaust excellent craftsmanship. Wouldn't have taken it anywhere else. Highly recommend. Cheers guys 🖒

Lee and Josh bent over backward to get the welding done on my VW T4. It flew through it's MOT thanks to these guys!!

Guys did a brilliant job on my exhaust, really neat and quality job done. Would recommend them to anyone.

Genuine guys and go out of their way to help, very knowledgable and their work is faultless.

Would definately recommend.

Brilliant job fixing the rust on my T4 and meticulously wax-oiling underneath. Lee and Josh are genuine, friendly guys who are passionate about VWs and very skilled at what they do. Excellent communication throughout and went above and beyond to get the job done right. Highly recommended : )

Brilliant blokes who work tirelessly for every customer. The work they craft is fantastic! Wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else.
