User

Wow, what a fantastic experience. My parents, children and me ventured along today and had the most marvellous time. Lovely welcome and then the most interesting, fascinating and mesmerising demonstration. We absolutely loved having help to make our own glasses and paperweights. I really appreciate the skill, training and experience required. Thanks for a marvellous morning!

User

We had a great visit here. My son was really interested to see glass blowing and thoroughly enjoyed the demonstration as did I. Seeing a master craftsman at work and giving a commentary on what he was doing was really fascinating. My son chose an option to make an item (heavily supervised!) which I thought was a lovely extra touch after having seen the demonstration. All in all a really interesting experience and I would recommend it. If you are interested in observing craftsmen at work then it is well worth the price of admission to the workshop. You can choose whether or not to spend more making items if you wish or purchase from the shop. There is no obligation to buy anything.

User

Visited yesterday and saw a wonderful demonstration - fascinating to watch and such skilled and informative craftsmen. The shop was wonderful - so many beautiful pieces to choose from - and the coffee shop is super too! I would highly recommend a visit.

User

Visited with disabled mum.. the staff couldn't of been nicer if they tried.. wonderful place, the glass demonstration had mum in awe..

User

Recieved my forever into glass today, it's beautiful.

Had my 18 year old cats remains put into a paperweight, choose the gold colour to match his ginger coat, service was excellent and it was completed well within timescales (really quickly). I love it and highly recommend.

User

Never been before and was amazed at how lovely the restaurant was, clean cosy and very friendly staff. The Cheese scone and latte were lovely and the Victoria sponge just had to be eaten and was lovely.

The shop itself had some love hand made blown glass and something in every price range for presents for people. I would certainly recommend a visit.

User

My husband bought a bauble experience for my sister-in-law, mother-in-law and me for Christmas and we finally got around to doing it in late June (with a year on the voucher, there's plenty of time to use it) and we watched the demonstrations (as long as we wanted) which was very impressive! The staff are so skilled and talked us through what they were doing and why. We then blew our own baubles. I was quite nervous, but was put at ease by John, who talked us through everything and let us pick our colours. With each of us, he explained all the parts and what we were going to be doing. It was so much fun and well worth doing! Highly recommend this experience! We could collect our baubles as soon as 10am the next day! It was very reasonable priced too!

User

Love this place. We have been twice now. It is so fascinating to watch how they make different items and being able to make something is amazing too!

User

I went today with my children and parents. The demonstrations are fantastic and the guys very knowledgeable. I treated the children to make a tealight holder, they loved this and we can't wait to have them posted to us. Thanks guys. Cafe staff lovely and friendly and shop staff and products are great. It's a great morning or afternoons activity.

User

I was lucky enough to get a voucher for a full day course and came in today to use it. Andrew, Ian and Chris were very friendly and welcoming, and the tuition from Andrew and Ian was clear, patient and encouraging! I made a selection of wonderful items, and am looking forward to picking them up in a few days. I really recommend this as a gift if you have someone who is very difficult to buy for, and you really appreciate the craftsmanship that goes into making the beautiful items they stock! Thanks for a fantastic day!

User

I visited yesterday with my adult daughter. The items in the shop are beautiful, especially the animals and birds, but 90% of them are out of my price range. We paid £5.95 to watch the glass blowing demonstrations, where they made a hurricane vase, an elephant, a snowman and Christmas baubles. It was fascinating to watch, they were very skillful and informative and were happy to answer questions. We had lunch in the cafe which was very nice. I paid £4.95 for a BLT sandwich. I bought three small glass items for £20, I wish I was rich because there are lots of like to buy lol. Overall we had a lovely time at Langham Glass.

User

I visited with two of my cousins on Wednesday - we had a lovely wander around the shop and saw the glass making demonstrations - a lamp base, a gin glass and an avocet. One of us made a bauble and two of us made purchases in the shop. The demonstration was excellent and very informative plus I had two questions answered. We also visited the cafe which was lovely and competitively priced. Loved it and would definitely visit again if in the area. Thank you.

User

I thought it was brilliant. Ive seen glass blowing before but this was so much better! To watch how they do it all, how they put the bubbles in the glass, or the hedgehogs.. i was fascinated by it all! Also enjoyed doing some glass blowing ourselves, my sister, niece and nephew all made a bauble and i made a shot glass! Brilliant afternoon. Would definitely recommend

User

I had a voucher as a gift & spent a great afternoon trying to make a paperweight,a bowl & a bird.

It’s really quite hard to do,some more than others, but so enjoyable. Andrew was very patient & explained the process every step of the way. Sometimes 2/3 times.

I can’t wait to go & pick up the items I made.

I’d thoroughly recommend this as a wonderful introduction to taking up a hobby,or as in my case, something I’ve always wanted to try.

User

I could spend all day watching the glass bits being formed. I am now dropping hints about the half day glass experience as a possible birthday gift!!

User

Had been a few years ago and still a great experience My son and daughter both made a lovely bauble will be back again next year

User

Fascinating ... could have spent days there!!! Staff SO friendly, and informative .... and we left having made 3 beautiful juice glasses and 3 beautiful whisky glasses. Can't recommend the experience high enough .... living in Belgium we can't go back too frequently but if we were closer we would be visiting and watching their skills regularly!!

User

Been meaning to come here for years. Lovely place. ‘Made’ a tealight holder. Had to go back and make a vase. Lovely little cafe. Back on good old slimming world diet but the staff were brilliant. Really accommodating. The whole experience is well recommended for all ages !!
