Our first time at Latitude as a family. Loved it! Plenty of choice for food, plenty of gluten free options for our daughter! Only downside would be lack of showers for the family camping. Queues were crazy! We will definitely be back

User

Latitude is one of my favourite festivals just love the laid back vibes and such a beautiful location this year was my third latitude festival and can’t wait to go next year

User

I think I have found 'my' festival, as it's got a bit of everything to do with the arts and more than just music. Also, it's the cleanest festival site I've ever seen upon leaving. I'll come again.

User

Had an amazing time, my biggest grip is getting ripped off with the cost of everything. Festivals do screw people over on the cost of food and drinks. Apart from that it was brilliant with amazing food stalls. Can’t wait to go again.

User

Best year yet, food vendors fantastic, music fantastic weather fantastic, our 15 year old daughter played for the first time on inbetweeners stage fantastic, only let down was the poor over priced selection of beer £5.50 a pint !!!!!!!! Roll on next year and £6.00 a pint !!!!!

User

Amazing! so well planned youve thought of everything! such great line ups..sooo much to see and do..and totally family friendly! what more could you want? the best festival ive been to and ive been to loads! see ya next year!

User

AMAZING weekend - thank you. Everything a festival should be and more.

Loads of security, brilliant family camping with pretty good toilets and showers (I was up at 4am on Saturday due to a popped air bed so had the best and longest shower of the weekend then.

Food and drinks were expensive but not unexpected, so much choice.

The £35 for the posh toilets and girls room was well worth it - rows of hairdryers, GHD’s, hair products etc - better toilets than the service station en-route.

Line up for the whole weekend was ace. The BBC Introducing stage in the woods was fantastic. Citadel especially.

Great to see Liam, Killers, Go Team, James, Vaccines and found loads more new music.

Loved every second - the wall to wall sunshine helped.

User

Really good festival.

However, most showers had blocked by the second day in the Performers area and toilets started to smell early on. Would have been good if the showers had been dealt with as the queues were really bad.

User

One of the best festivals beautiful location and well planned and helpful staff ( mainly) BUT should win an award for WORST bars of any festival . Rubbish selection of one beer - yes one beer ! One lager one cider - soft drink maybe ? Yes please I'm driving home later Well it's 7 Up or nothing mate . Sort it out guys look around at what other festivals do.

User

Ok, the line up’s fantastic. I love it all from bbc introducing, comedy, cabaret, through to the headliners. The Killers were phenomenal and Liam ‘surprise guest’ Gallagher smashed it. The new street food was incredible, can’t imagine a better choice or standard of food anywhere. I’m dropping a point because- 1. The Bar. Compared to the variety of the food, the bar was frankly embarrassing. You’ve clearly got yourselves tied into a financial arrangement that is limiting and just rubbish. Shame on you. Get a village fir micro breweries, partner with new innovative producers and get some decent soft drinks. 2. I’m in family camping again. 1-3 hour queues for showers???? 20 showers for all of family camping???? Do the math guys. Not asking for hundreds, but you need another 10-20 minimum. And sort the toilets out - they were poor.

User

Never fail to have a good time at Latitude, this was my 5th! Loved that the comedy tent and the speakeasy were bigger and more open this year, but please put acts on appropriate stages. Missed Lost Voice Guy and James Acaster as you just couldn’t get in. Also, there should be a point at the front of stages where no chairs, blankets, buggies, trailers etc should be allowed, became really dangerous trying to negotiate all that in a crowd in the dark. Keep up the good work though, will definitely be back again!

User

Had a fab time with my family...loads of stuff to do, great line up, excellent food and beautiful setting!! Only downside (and It really was a big issue!!) there just weren’t enough campervan field toilets!! At 8am on Saturday I had to walk for 4 minutes to get to the queue for 15 toilets, and there were 38 people in front of me!! I felt for the poor kids in the queue especially Not everyone has a camper with a toilet!! This really needs to be addressed...they should have some on the opposite side of the field for the people ( like us) who were right at the back. I also understand the reason for he camper field queue on arrival was due to people working out the pitch size with their awnings, but perhaps you should have two entrances to speed up the process. We queued for an hour and a half with a 2 year old who was desperate to get out of the car (after a 4 hour journey) only to queue just to get parked. Apart from that we loved the festival and will be back. Hope that the feedback (everyone in the camper field was equally as annoyed!) will be listened to

User

Great festival with eclectic selection of music, food and arts. First big festival I’ve been too as in the past we’ve always kept to smaller ones for the last 10 years. Loved finding secret spaces in the woods. John Cooper Clarke was awesome. Vodka bar different vibe to everywhere else but this is a good thing eh?

BUT like many people have commented. Sort the toilets and showers out in campsites. Come on Latitude you’re not stupid and the lack of facilities in the campsite was a MASSIVE oversight. Moreover it was actually a true health and safety issue particularly for kids. Some parents had to let their kids go to the loo in the queue which was distressing for everyone.

Sort the bars out. You’ve got a cracking selection of breweries in East Anglia. Wherry and cider unavailable at least 6 times over the weekend. Not good enough.

You’ve got the makings of a cracking festival, but stop cutting corners and being lazy, sort your procurement out and your supply chains. And don’t fall into the trap of thinking that you can coast on the back of your brand, or it will bite you in the arse.

User

3rd year in a row and we had a fab time again. Music line up brilliant. Surprise acts didn’t disappoint! Food stalls really good. Love the Prosecco bars and Carlsberg (for the music mainly!)

4 stars because of a couple of points;

- Not sure of logic of Solange (who?) headlining and James in tent. Half our group didn’t get in it was so busy yet Obelisk empty?

- bars- queues mainly because staff couldnt take a simple drinks order. Far too expensive for the limited choice.

- toilets. Please sort out the toilets in the middle. It’s far too much of a walk from one end to the other. If you are in Solas (which is an amazing area) it takes forever to get to the loo!!

- age restrictions - so many more younger groups of kids - please don’t go down the road of so many other festivals who don’t bother managing this.

User

What on earth is the reason for a zig zag queue at the Obelisk bars. We are adult gentlefolk and know how to stand at a bar.

User

I’ve been going to latitude since 2011 and I have always loved it. However, I feel that this year may be my last year there, after learning that the festival will be moved a week forward to accommodate the children’s school holidays. I’m fully aware that Latitude is a family friendly festival. But I’m fed up with camping with 14 year old children high on ketamine, who are unable to handle alcohol. Age restrictions need to be enforced in general camping, as it’s ruining the experience for people who are camping there legitimately. It is stated clearly on the website that underage teenagers are not permitted in general camping, please apply these rules more thoroughly

P.s bring back the flower picnic tables

User

I must start that love this festival. I have been over several years and I love the fact that its just a big family fun event. Old, young, able and less abled people around. I love the dance, the SOLAS arena, the Into The Woods, the sheep, the food, the comedy, the great vibe and the music: always the music.

Yes, there is a "but" coming. This year I hated the music that intruded into other areas.

Did no one notice how loud the BBC tent was! It leaked out when we were at the Lake Stage. It was intrusive when we were in some parts of the Obelisk arena, it could be heard when in the Carlsberg 'hut'.

I go to festivals knowing that the music will be loud. I look forward to hearing new music; it was *great*, music from a large range of acts. This year's festival was most memorable for way the noise from the BBC tent took over from other areas. it was annoying and unnecessary.

Sort it out please! Yes I am planning for next year.

User

Had a fantastic weekend as usual and I saw alot of improvements this year(been to 8 latitudes) especially food and comedy arena! But and it's a big but, what he hell us going on with the campsite toilets? Never have I had reason to complain about them before, but this year as well as no attendants at night (boring job I know, but feels safe) in green and red there were whole rows closed off, doors hanging off, doors that won't close or lock, my friend got trapped in one because the door got stuck, flush doesn't work, the list goes on. I get that they are used year in year out, but they are in a terrible state of repair and need some love and attention!!!!

User

Great music and great vibe. The food stalls were amazing and reasonably priced for a festival. We paid the extra for good toilets but they had problems with these too. Sinks not working and blocked toilets. My real complaint was the bars. What a poor selection. We have great breweries in East Anglia and growing popularity for craft ale . Latitude was a desert in the beer stakes. Revolting Carlsberg and Wherry (which wasn’t kept at the correct temperature). It a shame you went the corporate route and sold out in my view. I have been to other festivals which have thriving real/craft ale bars. It seems you took the easy option and gave this no real thought at all. I hope things improve drastically next year.
