Leighton Denny MBE is a leading expert and an internationally recognised figure in the beauty world with a multi-award winning range of Expert Nail and Sun Believable tanning products. With a vast amount of significant achievements, he also possesses a star-studded client list that includes Kate Moss, Penelope Cruz and Adele.
Leighton began his journey as a forklift truck driver in Bradford, but quickly progressed to becoming one of the UK’s leading nail and beauty experts. Whilst he was building his empire of appointed salons worldwide, Leighton won over 60 industry awards. He produced his own lines of nail and beauty treatments, which quickly became cult favourites amongst beauty professionals and customers alike. In April 2012, Denny introduced Lip Dual to his ever expanding beauty portfolio. This 2-in-1 colour system offers full lip colour with built-in ultra-conditioning moisturisers for colour intensity that lasts for hours.
Leighton is also a fervent and proud supporter of Breast Cancer Care and has continued to collaborate with them on initiatives for all his product ranges. Previously, Leighton was an Ambassador of Jeans for Genes, a children’s charity raising awareness for genetic disorders.
In 2012, Leighton received an honorary PHAB Standard Accolade. Rarely given as an honorary award, the PHAB Accolade recognises a qualified level of excellence in the Performance of Hair And Beauty. In 2015, Leighton was presented the highly prestigious title of MBE by The Queen for his achievements within the nail and beauty industry. Leighton's first book, ‘How I Nailed It’, which became the number one best-selling autobiography in the Beauty & Fashion section of Amazon just twenty-four hours after its release. It's continued to be exceptional for Leighton with some of his highest achievements, including the launch of his debut fragrance range, LIGHT & DARK - the 2016 Fragrance Foundation (FiFi) Award Winner, chosen by readers of Elle Magazine. While Leighton has achieved so much in such a short amount of time, he is not stopping anytime soon as he continues to expand his product offerings and expertise, fulfilling the needs of beauty product lovers everywhere.
