We love going for our Lidl walk for a Lidl shop at Lidl prices. Lidl wonder we love having our not so Lidl Lidl so close.

Same value for money goods but store seems to be still settling in staff wise. Too few when we were there.

Much bigger shop than I expected or was used to where I used to live. Aisles are wider and has large car park - which it needed yesterday when people were queuing up to get in. Will definitely be a regular visitor especially to the Bakery.

Lovely shop, some good quality products.... only what a pain when it comes to paying and leaving! I was in there mid-afternoon today, and there were only two checkouts open, with queues for both of them and the self-service tills stretching half way up the aisles opposite (eight or nine people waiting in each place). After waiting in one of the queues for a while, I heard an announcement that another till was opening, and was the third to arrive there. We then all waited another five minutes for the cashier to arrive. My wait to check out was longer than it had taken me to collect two large bags of shopping. Please keep a better eye on the customer flow - this time-wasting is no fun. Joyce Carter.

If any Lidl staff are reading this, I have had nothing but great/good experiences with each and every staff member whom I've spoken to or needed to discuss something with.

They are modern and politely deal with each meeting or issue and thankfully no ' over the garden fence ' slow gossip and natter whilst they often communicate with dialogue perfectly politely and kindly. I find them also quickly understanding .

We are really happy to have Lidl near us but.......

The tills are always understaffed - ie today, no one on the tills and 8people waiting to checkout!! With 5/6 tills I have never seen more than 2 open with queues blocking the aisles! !!

And thank god for the fab guys at the self checkout as they are NOT set up properly and the staff constantly have to come and help put items through!! Items are incorrectly computer-linked and refuse them all the time.

Come on Lidl - help us out

Second trip in two weeks, great shop but till staff can be rude and unprofessional. Two weeks ago I had to ask the man serving us to be more gentle with the food I was buying because I wanted to consume it in an edible state. Tonight 2030 hrs I was served by a lady who didn't ask for my voucher so I didn't get the free item. Although I wouldn't normally buy that item I did spend £70. I went back in with my receipt and was told

I needed the voucher, I stated that last week I didn't need the voucher and was given the item, she then said there was nothing they could do. Tonight the lady serving me was taking on the headphones and I don't believe it was work related, I looked over to the man from last week (who obviously doesn't respect the brand enough to iron his shirt) and seen him talking away smiling as the lady was going shhh! I asked her if she was talking to him on the headphone and she said no it was someone else. She was to distracted having a social rather than asking me for my voucher. Poor customer service and I'm very disappointed and felt uncomfortable. Would have approached management if I could see any.

In and out within 10 minutes using Self Service Check Out...Only got some snacks for work..

Back to Tesco for me, fed up waiting to be served , not sure I like having my purchase chucked down the check out .Not enough staff.

Went to Lidl Carmarthen last 6th of December getting bits and pieces and that time was quite busy and had to wait for another till to open as it's only one is serving anyway I waited patiently despite the fact I had a little girl to pick in school and my husband is there inside the car all the time waiting for me and we park not very far from the entrance because I'm struggling in walking due to a very bad back and hada walking sticks with me so is my husband and after a month we recieve a letter from Lidl demanding £90.00 fine for parking because we exceed the minimum hours seriously ????? I've been inside the shop and had my receipt with me to proof and my husband had a blue badge because of his illness now they keep sending us letters demanding for money is it really a routine because I had no idea whatsoever .

Sorry Not impressed visited your store at 7 pm tonight, no milk left, freezers empty, rubbish every where, floors dirty, no trolleys in bays. Lack of staff. This is typical Lidl they launch at big store but won't pay for it to be managed properly, poole went down hill very quickly too,



I know you're a budget supermarket but please staff you're stores correctly it lets you down!
