Was looking forward to this opening. Only a few mins drive from me. Great for bits we need. XxX
Went there this morning. I’m assuming the checkout staff are targeted with speed of getting people through the checkouts as my shopping was bundled across the scanner, getting squashed the other side and causing some things to get pushed on the floor. Then I was asked to pay whilst still mid-packing so some other poor person in the queue behind me could have her shopping thrown over mine and down another chute
What a terrible store. I know that Lidl doesn't bother with customer service but we queued for over 20 mins, the store was filthy and the manager wouldn't come and talk to me. I've never seen such poor standards for a brand new store - shoddy even for Lidl or Aldi.
I was annoyed when I arrived as there were no trolleys so we took a basket instead then when driving out we saw the trolleys were all hidden down the side of the shop - that's just lazy design but I guess you focus on price and not customers.
Fruit and veg was awful. Poor availability and poor quality
