If so I just wanted to say a massive thank you for our tow by your rib today and what an incredible son you have, kind caring and so keen to help and capable. I have teenagers and I would hope they would act in the same way.... If you don't then sorry for random message but think good to try and thank knights in shining armour or good people being kind so trying to locate kind owners. we tried this place after a recommendation. The smell when you walk in is gorgeous! You can see the fresh pizzas coming out and literally can’t wait to order. Staff were friendly and helpful, but above all was the menu choices and the beautiful food. We will be back as saw so much more on the menu that we need to try next 😀

Went as part of a large group to Lucca on a Friday night, from the moment we walked in to the moment we left, the staff were fantastic, friendly and really helpful!

Food was excellent and very reasonably priced.

On a personal note I called earlier in the day to enquire about Dairy free options and was told that all had to do was request my dish (pasta) without milk and the chef would more than happily make an alternative for me!

We went today on a busy Sunday lunch service, not that you would have known; the waitresses were quick and attentive, our food arrived fast and piping hot.

As for the flavour and the portion size....WOW! I never order a Calzone in your typical Italian "chain" restaurant's as they are full of dough and not alot else. Lucca has their Calzone's on point! Full to the brim of quality, super tasty ingredients and it was huge!!! The dough is delicious and thin, just as you would expect in Italy.

As for dessert, PLEASE try the Nutella Pizza....if you have a sweet tooth and want to share, this is the dessert for you!

We will be back, and telling all our friends to come too! Thank you for a lovely meal x

Brought my parents on a Thursday who couldn't believe how great it all was.

Came for the first time last night with friends who live locally - lovely decor, good service, great food. All plaudits well deserved.

We have been to Lucca's several times before and have always enjoyed the food and service, you would expect from a good Italian restaurant.



Unfortunately, last night was very different. We booked a table to celebrate our 28th Wedding Anniversary with the family. We were seated promptly and the drinks order was taken soon after being seated. However, we had to wait a very long time for our drinks and when the drinks finally arrived, after asking numerous people where our drinks were, the wine was brought to the table with no wine glasses which meant we had to wait again.



When our orders where being taken, the young lady serving us, had to keep checking the menu for spellings of the different foods we were ordering and it was apparent that she had little to no knowledge of the menu.



When our food arrived, the food was passed to us across the table. They leant over the table rather than walking around. Now I would understand if the table was hard to get around but we were sitting on a large round table in the upstairs seating area so it was very easy to walk around the table rather than leaning across where we had to take our plates from them.



The lady who appeared to be the manager was wearing a grotty pair of leggings and another young man was wearing jeans and a sweatshirt. Not the sort of attire you'd expect to see.



Overall a very disappointing evening. The food at Lucca's is still good however the service needs improving!
