Hoping everyone is having a lovely Easter weekend. We are closed today, bank holiday Monday but reopen tomorrow at 9am as usual.

Can’t wait to use these little beauties, that were kindly given to us yesterday from one of our lovely customers thank you.

Needless to say we are open at the moment. You can even sit in doors if you like!!!!!!

In the chiller today we have this luscious,fresh cream lemon cake!!!!

I understand that a rumour has spread on the internet about our afternoon tea prices. I can confirm that they are £12.95 for one or two for £24.00. If you fancy one, they are served from 2pm until 4pm and usually need to be booked in advance. Either way, you’ll leave felling full!

Wonderful afternoon Tea. One of the best I have had, great value and great service

Treated my friend to afternoon tea and it was absolutely lovely. From the pretty vintage plates and attention to detail to the amazing sandwiches, scones and cakes - I was very much impressed. Everything was fresh, light and tasted delicious. Friendly staff as well. An enjoyable afternoon! �

This place was lovely I booked up for Saturday 6th for my Mum birthday treat we had afternoon tea which was lovely,plenty to eat everything was lovely,the best bit of all is I had my sister with us who has a really bad allergy and the ladies were brilliant they were all told and understand which was fab they were totally understanding and lovely ladies,we will definitely go back again and have afternoon tea,Thank you ladies for a lovely afternoon. �xx

This little tea shop is a real gem. I had visited before for coffee and cake and this time had afternoon tea with a friend. It was beautifully presented and everything was delicious. The portions were very generous and we took cake home with us as we were so full. The staff are very welcoming and accommodating, will definitely visit again.

This is the second time that my parents & I have visited Mad Hatters; each time, we have eaten lovely food, served by very friendly staff - couldn't ask for more & would certainly recommend to others.

This is the loveliest little tea shop with the biggest welcome. Staff are always so friendly and remember me and my cousin when we visit. The shop is full of little gifts to buy. It’s a treasure trove.

My friend and I came in today for afternoon tea, it looked so lovely and we were determined to eat it all but because it was so delicious and so filling we couldn’t quite manage our cake, luckily because you offer a take away service we get to enjoy it later on too � thank you for such a lovely treat and a very warm welcome x

Lovely chatty staff, really friendly. Very obliging with extra hot water etc. Good tea, nice toast and scrummy cheese scone! Well worth a visit.

I love this shop because I’m not the worlds easiest customer to please..

But the staff in there are so friendly and do anything they can to make sure I stay wheat free gluten free and lactose free!
