Was treated to afternoon tea for my birthday and it was really lovely. Cakes were yummy, sandwiches were lovely and staff were really friendly. Would recommend and will be back �

Visited today with my mum and daughter, absolutely lovely place and great little find. Can’t believe it’s been there for 4 years and i have never known about it. Afternoon Tea was lovely and would highly recommend the apple crumble infused tea, it’s delicious. Staff were really friendly and were absolutely great with my little one, made a smaller chocolate milkshake and sandwich for her. Will be returning �

This place is a hidden treasure, I had heard about this place but had never been, I was taken here by my son who treated me to a New Years Eve breakfast. I don’t know what I was expecting but I have to say the food was exceptional, local produce, excellent quality and full of flavour, the atmosphere, the ambience and the friendly staff made it extra special!! Although I was full I could not leave without a slice of coffee cake and a slice of lemon drizzle which were superb, will definitely be going back! 5 star food with a 5 star service.

My friend and I went for their gin afternoon tea as a birthday treat to each other. The ladies were lovely and the food was gorgeous. Would definitely come back again. Thankyou for such a lovely afternoon.

My 2 and a half year old daughter attended the princess afternoon tea party with her daddy today. I have just come in from work and she literally hasn’t stopped talking about all the fun she has had! Thank you so much.

Me and my partner attended the mentalist act they put on tonight , it was so good we enjoyed every part of the night food was great service great lovely friendly staff top job would reccomend to anyone .

I took my Grandaughter to the Princesses Afternoon tea party today. It was an amazing afternoon, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that the children had a fabulous time. They entracted well and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

I had my Son’s First birthday here a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it, everyone that came commented to me how lovely Mad Hatter’s is. About 20 if us had an afternoon tea and the food was amazing, one of the best I’ve had. The staff we’re so lovely and attentive and made the whole day less stressful, they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and if there was anything they could do; they would do it. Would Defiently recommend.

Booked afternoon tea for me and my mum, and had off the menu for the girl. It was very DELISH. Had 3 different finger sandwiches and a mini home made quiche. Then individual carrot cake brownie and a frangipani type thing, then scone with cream and jam.. very prompt service even though it was quite busy, had a lovely time, can’t wait to go back xx

The surroundings were really nice something to look at on each wall. Service was quick and adapted our 3 year old lunch and drink. Presentation of our food was really nice and tasted nice too. Owner was very friendly in particular to our very chatty 3 yr old who got free chocolates. Would have given 5 star but prices were a little high, however I would still return.

I took my mum here for an early mother’s day celebration. We had afternoon tea for 3 of us, including a children’s afternoon tea. The selection of sandwiches were very fresh and very tasty. The scones were very fresh and tasty. The cakes were also extremely homemade and delicious. The only thing I would say is that I didn’t find one particular member of staff overly friendly (I actually think she was the owner). The younger waitress who served us was friendly enough. When I called to make the booking the lady wasnt overly helpful and when I called to advise we were running late she wasnt particularly friendly (I think the same lady). When we arrived she wasn’t particularly welcoming, and it was only at the end whilst paying the bill she asked how our tea was. I think the service could do with some improvement because the food and the tea room itself is truly lovely. A lovely afternoon tea though, thank you.

Marked down as website states one price but we were charged more. Sandwich selection for the afternoon tea were also not as advertised on website..advertised as ham and mustard,egg mayo and salmon. We received mozzarella and basil, salmon and cream cheese and chicken and apple! Yuk! ( I’m allergic to chicken) Have to say I wouldn’t have booked if I’d realised the price and what we were going to get. Wouldn’t go again to be honest. Disappointing.

Food was lovely. However, staff very rude and abrupt. Website says £14.95 for afternoon tea and so does the menu we were given at our table. When we went to pay the bill we were charged £16.95pp for 4 people. When I queried it the waitress/owner (not sure) told me we would have been told on the phone about the price increase when we booked it, I said we weren’t and she just replied with ‘you were’ and walked off, very rude! We paid the full bill but we weren’t happy with the way this was dealt with or the service we received. The lady said the price increase happened in January! Surely putting a sticker over the price is better than misleading customers !? This was for a late Mother’s Day treat (2 weeks later) and was awkward having to query the price.

Went in today with my Daughter an older woman with blonde hair very extremly rude do no recommend this place .

When I queried it the waitress/owner (not sure) told me we would have been told on the phone about the price increase when we booked it, I said we weren’t and she just replied with ‘you were’ and walked off, very rude! We paid the full bill but we weren’t happy with the way this was dealt with or the service we received. The lady said the price increase happened in January! Surely putting a sticker over the price is better than misleading customers !? This was for a late Mother’s Day treat (2 weeks later) and was awkward having to query the price.

Was treated to afternoon tea for my birthday and it was really lovely. Cakes were yummy, sandwiches were lovely and staff were really friendly. Would recommend and will be back �

Visited today with my mum and daughter, absolutely lovely place and great little find. Can’t believe it’s been there for 4 years and i have never known about it. Afternoon Tea was lovely and would highly recommend the apple crumble infused tea, it’s delicious. Staff were really friendly and were absolutely great with my little one, made a smaller chocolate milkshake and sandwich for her. Will be returning �

This place is a hidden treasure, I had heard about this place but had never been, I was taken here by my son who treated me to a New Years Eve breakfast. I don’t know what I was expecting but I have to say the food was exceptional, local produce, excellent quality and full of flavour, the atmosphere, the ambience and the friendly staff made it extra special!! Although I was full I could not leave without a slice of coffee cake and a slice of lemon drizzle which were superb, will definitely be going back! 5 star food with a 5 star service.

My friend and I went for their gin afternoon tea as a birthday treat to each other. The ladies were lovely and the food was gorgeous. Would definitely come back again. Thankyou for such a lovely afternoon.

My 2 and a half year old daughter attended the princess afternoon tea party with her daddy today. I have just come in from work and she literally hasn’t stopped talking about all the fun she has had! Thank you so much.

Me and my partner attended the mentalist act they put on tonight , it was so good we enjoyed every part of the night food was great service great lovely friendly staff top job would reccomend to anyone .

I took my Grandaughter to the Princesses Afternoon tea party today. It was an amazing afternoon, the staff went above and beyond to ensure that the children had a fabulous time. They entracted well and nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommended.

I had my Son’s First birthday here a few weeks ago and absolutely loved it, everyone that came commented to me how lovely Mad Hatter’s is. About 20 if us had an afternoon tea and the food was amazing, one of the best I’ve had. The staff we’re so lovely and attentive and made the whole day less stressful, they went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed and if there was anything they could do; they would do it. Would Defiently recommend.

Had the most yummy Mother's Day afternoon tea at Madhatters today!! This is one of my favourite places to come for a meal or treat anyway & you never disappoint, but you outdid yourselves today, great food & great service as per usual!! Thank you from me & mine x

Booked afternoon tea for me and my mum, and had off the menu for the girl. It was very DELISH. Had 3 different finger sandwiches and a mini home made quiche. Then individual carrot cake brownie and a frangipani type thing, then scone with cream and jam.. very prompt service even though it was quite busy, had a lovely time, can’t wait to go back xx

The surroundings were really nice something to look at on each wall. Service was quick and adapted our 3 year old lunch and drink. Presentation of our food was really nice and tasted nice too. Owner was very friendly in particular to our very chatty 3 yr old who got free chocolates. Would have given 5 star but prices were a little high, however I would still return.

I took my mum here for an early mother’s day celebration. We had afternoon tea for 3 of us, including a children’s afternoon tea. The selection of sandwiches were very fresh and very tasty. The scones were very fresh and tasty. The cakes were also extremely homemade and delicious. The only thing I would say is that I didn’t find one particular member of staff overly friendly (I actually think she was the owner). The younger waitress who served us was friendly enough. When I called to make the booking the lady wasnt overly helpful and when I called to advise we were running late she wasnt particularly friendly (I think the same lady). When we arrived she wasn’t particularly welcoming, and it was only at the end whilst paying the bill she asked how our tea was. I think the service could do with some improvement because the food and the tea room itself is truly lovely. A lovely afternoon tea though, thank you.

Marked down as website states one price but we were charged more. Sandwich selection for the afternoon tea were also not as advertised on website..advertised as ham and mustard,egg mayo and salmon. We received mozzarella and basil, salmon and cream cheese and chicken and apple! Yuk! ( I’m allergic to chicken) Have to say I wouldn’t have booked if I’d realised the price and what we were going to get. Wouldn’t go again to be honest. Disappointing.
