A friendly place to meet up, get advice and support with a wide variety of slings and carriers to try out. Along with the option to hire them.

Halton Sling Library currently has a base in Widnes and Runcorn and I alternate between the two and I run every two weeks, meaning I'm in Widnes then 2 weeks later in Runcorn. Please see events for the exact times and locations of each meet or posts on Facebook with updates. Each session in a drop in so please come and say hello as we are extremely welcoming even if you're not sure what your needs are.

This is where you are able to come and have a look at all of the library slings in stock and have a play to find what suits you, then you can hire them out for a fortnight (or longer if required please just ask) to try them in real settings. You may want to hire a sling just for special occasions like a weekend away, a holiday abroad or even a special event.

We have a wide variety of slings available including stretchy wraps, Caboo carriers, ring slings, soft structures carriers with buckles, half buckles and mai tai's. We have some wrap conversions and some beautiful woven wraps. I can personally help you find what is suitable for you and baby by looking at how you want to use the carrier, where you will be using it, along with size and age of baby and size of wearer. All of these things can contribute to making a decision on the right carrier for you.

Charges are
£8 for 2 weeks
£15 for 4 weeks
£3 for advice only (using our slings or your own).

I have completed training with Slingababy and am also a member of BABI which is the British Association of Babywearing Instructors. I ensure I am up to date with any new safety information and will be attending regular training to remain refreshed in my knowledge and skills.
