Also you guys saved the day yesterday for a birthday dinner date after a table booking elsewhere was fucked up, mangetout will be my first port of call next time. Great service too which helped lift the stress of the eveningÔŅĹÔŅĹ

We visited on Tuesday 12th June for our 3rd wedding anniversary our 1st visit & with out 2 month old daughter. Was greeted by friendly staff & shown to our table with allocated pram space next to table (which I had requested on booking) our waitress was lovely & recommended cocktails when we was having trouble choosing. Food was lovely we ordered off the week set menu lots of choice, big portions (I couldn't eat all mine so it was bagged up for me to take home) & amazing value for money.

Cocktails on offer & 1s we had very tasty ÔŅĹÔŅĹ waited on when needed which is great hate feeling pestered when eathing.

We have already said we will visit again.

My only moan is that air con was up a little to high for my personal liking.



But overall great evening ÔŅĹ

We arrived at a really busy time (9pm on Good Friday) and staff were really welcoming and great considering how busy they were. Got served straight away and food arrived in perfect time. Very friendly waitress and manager who served us. Food was delicious! I definitely recommend coming here but be advised that you should call up and book beforehand as it gets busy in the evenings.

Mangetout is the best place in town in my eyes. The food is always top notch. And the cocktails are something else so if you want to eat or just want a tasty drink get down there. You will love it.

I have always enjoyed my visits to Mangetout & today reminded me why it remains one of the best restaurants around. It was my first visit back since discovering I have a gluten intolerance & not only do all of the burgers have the option of a gluten free bun, but when I ordered my food the waitress kindly advised me that whilst the fried chicken wouldn‚Äôt be gluten free, she could ask the kitchen to substitute for a piece of grilled chicken that would be gluten free and the rest of the meal would remain the same. For me that was above & beyond and it was very much appreciated. The food, drinks and service were all exceptional & I will definitely continue to visit (I just wish I had taken the waitress‚Äô name down to thank her!) ÔŅĹ

I guess anything good I got to say already been said by others, Been going to mangetout since it was at the original smaller restaurant just up the road and as other times enjoyable meal and always good to try out new stuff on menu as I did yesterday, the waitress that looked after us, Lottie or Charlotte think that is her name, very polite and attentive too. Not a place I go all times sadly just once with while when I treat myself.

Hi! Just wanted to say a big thank you! We came in Monday eve (after being let down badly for our restaurant reservation at another place, that I will never go back to now!) so phoned up last minute and u accommodated for 12 of us and managed to squeeze us all in! Food was amazing! Our little waitress Charlie was amazing, and very patient considering a lot of our party were middle aged men, that like to wind up! ÔŅĹ

We all had the most amazing night and although I have been in a few times and originally wanted to come to you, the birthday boy choose this other particular restaurant, not that I want to mention where (but a well known vodka bar down queens road ÔŅĹ)

So I got my own way in the end i suppose ÔŅĹ

All in all a fantastic time had by all and we all left very happy and full! So thank you all of u! X

Really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and the staff were really friendly and knew their stuff. The live music was a nice touch and it’s kid friendly too. Makes a nice change for a restaurant to tick all the boxes. Will definitely venture back soon!

Went here for dinner with my boyfriend last week, but have visited many many times before. It started great,we were given a lovely private table and cocktails were lovely. Starters were quite pricey for the size of them and, unfortunately, when my burger came out it was freezing cold. I will say that our server was brilliant and really apologetic. She offered to cook something new for me, but at this stage I had been put off and my boyfriend was halfway through his meal. They did deduct this from our bill and were thoroughly apologetic, but I'm sorry to say that the cold food was enough to put me off coming in again.

I came for a meal last night, I didn’t have any complaints other than the grease in my wrap was ridiculous... however my grandparents came for lunch today and was very unhappy, my grandads burger was still raw in the middle, was a puddle of grease and my nan was also unhappy with their meal. It’s safe to say they will not be returning.

Wrap was so greasy it made me gag when I bit into it, my daughter didn't eat her burger because it was undercooked (pink in fact) I have been before and thought it was over rated but decided to give it another try just to be very disappointed, when we used to eat in the smaller mongtout it was much better and so much more effort was put into it. Also the stairs leading down to the toilets smelt awful.

Me and my partner ordered via deliveroo Sunday evening we ordered out hot dogs they turned up looking like someone had put them in a box and shook them, we paid near on £30 for two hot dogs and chips which were both cold, I have tried to call mangetout and discuss this but each time I got through I got hung up on I am appalled by the service and the extortionate prices you charge for this sort of service. Will not be ordering again and will pass this news on to my friends and family!

I came in last week to celebrate my boys birthday .I was very dissapointed I was in a big party and we orderd our food was left waiting over an hour. when we recieved our food the chips were cold the steak was on the verge of cold ,our other meals were very small also with cold vegetables the drinks were very over priced our bill was x amout of pounds for drinks and more drinks whilst waiting for our food and then cold food . We didn't even receive an apology. The ladies toilets were dirty tissue on the floors and seats of the toilets stained.The last straw was our waitress with dirty fingernails.. Utterly dissapointed .. would not recommend visiting there ÔŅĹ

4/5 hours later all down my sink and toilet- no denying it smelt of the rib glaze- it's strong stuff ! Nothing else eaten since yesterday morning so must of been your meal.

I ate some of the meal purchased by my friend but not as much but now laying here now feeling sick myself. Chicken tasted of bleach and bit into a bit and it was raw!- pink and hard texture :( sweetcorn tasted off.

Friend ate most of the chicken and sweetcorn - must of been these.

Waste of money, gutted for my friend and for me who cleaned it up as my friend was too ill to!

I guess anything good I got to say already been said by others, Been going to mangetout since it was at the original smaller restaurant just up the road and as other times enjoyable meal and always good to try out new stuff on menu as I did yesterday, the waitress that looked after us, Lottie or Charlotte think that is her name, very polite and attentive too. We came in Monday eve (after being let down badly for our restaurant reservation at another place, that I will never go back to now!) so phoned up last minute and u accommodated for 12 of us and managed to squeeze us all in! Food was amazing! Our little waitress Charlie was amazing, and very patient considering a lot of our party were middle aged men, that like to wind up! ÔŅĹ

We all had the most amazing night and although I have been in a few times and originally wanted to come to you, the birthday boy choose this other particular restaurant, not that I want to mention where (but a well known vodka bar down queens road ÔŅĹ)

So I got my own way in the end i suppose ÔŅĹ

All in all a fantastic time had by all and we all left very happy and full! So thank you all of u! X

An amazing meal, definitely recommend anything with the brisket. Everything was awesome especially the Cajun jumbo prawns. Ness our waitress had a lovely manner, attentive but not intrusive. Well done Mangetout - can’t wait to do it again. X x x

Really enjoyed the food, atmosphere and the staff were really friendly and knew their stuff. The live music was a nice touch and it’s kid friendly too. Makes a nice change for a restaurant to tick all the boxes. Will definitely venture back soon!

Had a lovely waitress called Katy who looked after our table of 9 and catered to all our needs even though it was busy!

Went here for dinner with my boyfriend last week, but have visited many many times before. It started great,we were given a lovely private table and cocktails were lovely. Starters were quite pricey for the size of them and, unfortunately, when my burger came out it was freezing cold. I will say that our server was brilliant and really apologetic. She offered to cook something new for me, but at this stage I had been put off and my boyfriend was halfway through his meal. They did deduct this from our bill and were thoroughly apologetic, but I'm sorry to say that the cold food was enough to put me off coming in again.

I came for a meal last night, I didn’t have any complaints other than the grease in my wrap was ridiculous... however my grandparents came for lunch today and was very unhappy, my grandads burger was still raw in the middle, was a puddle of grease and my nan was also unhappy with their meal. It’s safe to say they will not be returning.

Wrap was so greasy it made me gag when I bit into it, my daughter didn't eat her burger because it was undercooked (pink in fact) I have been before and thought it was over rated but decided to give it another try just to be very disappointed, when we used to eat in the smaller mongtout it was much better and so much more effort was put into it. Also the stairs leading down to the toilets smelt awful.

Me and my partner ordered via deliveroo Sunday evening we ordered out hot dogs they turned up looking like someone had put them in a box and shook them, we paid near on £30 for two hot dogs and chips which were both cold, I have tried to call mangetout and discuss this but each time I got through I got hung up on I am appalled by the service and the extortionate prices you charge for this sort of service. Will not be ordering again and will pass this news on to my friends and family!

I came in last week to celebrate my boys birthday .I was very dissapointed I was in a big party and we orderd our food was left waiting over an hour. when we recieved our food the chips were cold the steak was on the verge of cold ,our other meals were very small also with cold vegetables the drinks were very over priced our bill was x amout of pounds for drinks and more drinks whilst waiting for our food and then cold food . We didn't even receive an apology. The ladies toilets were dirty tissue on the floors and seats of the toilets stained.The last straw was our waitress with dirty fingernails.. Utterly dissapointed .. would not recommend visiting there ÔŅĹ

4/5 hours later all down my sink and toilet- no denying it smelt of the rib glaze- it's strong stuff ! Nothing else eaten since yesterday morning so must of been your meal.

I ate some of the meal purchased by my friend but not as much but now laying here now feeling sick myself. Chicken tasted of bleach and bit into a bit and it was raw!- pink and hard texture :( sweetcorn tasted off.

Friend ate most of the chicken and sweetcorn - must of been these.

Waste of money, gutted for my friend and for me who cleaned it up as my friend was too ill to!

the veganator burger blew my bloody socks off, was so good and so needed. Cocktails as always were fab.

Would love to see a vegan starter on the menu!



Also you guys saved the day yesterday for a birthday dinner date after a table booking elsewhere was fucked up, mangetout will be my first port of call next time. Great service too which helped lift the stress of the eveningÔŅĹÔŅĹ

Was greeted by friendly staff & shown to our table with allocated pram space next to table (which I had requested on booking) our waitress was lovely & recommended cocktails when we was having trouble choosing. Food was lovely we ordered off the week set menu lots of choice, big portions (I couldn't eat all mine so it was bagged up for me to take home) & amazing value for money.

Cocktails on offer & 1s we had very tasty ÔŅĹÔŅĹ waited on when needed which is great hate feeling pestered when eathing.

We have already said we will visit again.

My only moan is that air con was up a little to high for my personal liking.



But overall great evening ÔŅĹ
