I have been coming to the granby pub on and off for over a year now just want to say both beth and all staff I come across have always made me feel very welcome and at ease with myself and others who come into the pub too! I also want to say how much beth and her staff have helped me over this year and a half by boosting my confidence making me feel at ease and more outgoing with others and in crowds of people too and less nervous too so forthat I will always be eternally grateful to each and everyone of you and beth and the great mark too who I am going to miss defo as he has made my days and evenings this past month the best especially when ive been feeling down and low in mood even though I cover up with a smile so nobody knows im a good actor lol! hope we can keep in touch as mates after! my love to you all at granby my favourite place were I feel at ease! from Stefan xx

first time we went in yesterday and won't be the last lovely friendly atmosphere,great staff and lovely food at great prices. Highly recommend to everyone :-)

Visited this morning for breakfast after midwives, delicious! Brilliant service by Beth too � thankyou! X

The Maquis of Granby is a cracking place to visit during the day, or for a drink on a night. The food is brilliant, the staff are excellent, and I always feel and get a nice welcome when ever I walk in.

Popped in for breakfast on the whim this morning, food was lovely, very very cost effective, service was beautiful and just made a glorious start to a day

My girlfriend and I often go to Hessle to look at the charity shops..We used to just go to a sandwich shop but today we thought we'd try here today...and really really glad we did!! I had a cheese and bacon burger (50p extra for a pint with it!!) and she had a cheese and caramelised onion relish wrap. Superb food and fantastic value for money. The person who took our food order was very helpful (she has a severe allergy to sesame and he was more than happy to thoroughly check ingredients)...Erm....and £3.05 for a pint of Stella...UNBELIEVABLE!! Teehee will definitely come back here when next in Hessle!!

Me and my friend came today for lunch, it was to try out the new refurb that has just taken place and I can certainly say it looks amazing!! The staff are all great lovely and friendly and nothing is ever to much trouble. Food/drinks were quick and this has been my local for years !! Well done granby ���

Lovely food apart from under cooked scampi but ut was dealt with straight away.great service and lovely friendly staff

Literally a pub that caters for all aspects in life. I've come in for multiple reasons and the staff and service have always gone above the bar to ensure I've had a good time. I've been in with my 1 year old son (which may I add loves the kids meals here as there is a choice of building your own meal to cater for any picky eater) and they've always made him laugh and served me great pub grub.

I've also come in for a few bevvies in the evening as any lad does and the staff aren't shy. They'll happily have a laugh and a giggle with you which is the reason why since moving to hessle we have made the granby our new local!

Best pub in Hessle! If me and my 7year old daughter fancy a meal out we always come here. The staff make you very welcome and the food is always delicious and the prices are great. This is the only pub I feel comfortable and relaxed in as a single mum. Excellent pub all round! (And the landlady is a star!)

The only negative was the children's burgers on the new menu were a bit smaller than before but other than that really inviting and good value for money

Alot of the regulars have gone elsewhere!!!

Went last Wednesday to eat - there was one bar man doing everything. Poor fella - he earned his money that night.

Food is ok. Extremely small portions. We had a long wait.

Karaoke at 4pm on Sunday afternoon in the bar is a disastrous idea. If you want to lose more punters then carry on with that one!!
