Ladies & Gents, loyal customers & friends! Due to my own ill health I am afraid we are having to leave our wonderful pub, it is not a decision I have made lightly but it is something I have to do for myself & my family! Our last day will be Sunday 14th October. As of 15th October the Marquis of Granby will be under the very capable hands of Kieran Bloor & Calum Bloor! I’m sure you will all join us in welcoming them to the breach, & give them as much love & support as you have for us over the last 6 months! We wish them every success in their new venture & look forward to seeing how successful they become! xx

What can I say? I cannot fault this pub. It is an interesting old building and the decor is lovely and well kept. Its friendly and you are made to feel very welcome. The drink prices are very competitive.
