Well done Ruth for organising and coordinating the move to Christchurch from New Milton. The new location looks great with some happy traders, ourselves included, pleased with the current layout. It is down to Ruth, and only Ruth, that we have been reassured she will continue to keep us informed of developments as the new organisation grows. Issues/concerns arising have been immediately resolved or at least acted upon by Ruth by her availability and willingness to deal with these things on site. What would we do without her? An added bonus has been the café where a very decent cup of coffee is served. Eileen and Stuart

We love a mooch round Mollys Den In New Milton!! The food was really good. We had a full English Breakfast. The Staff were lovely as always and very helpful. I never leave empty handed as I always find some sort of bargain! A few of the sellers are very over priced selling cheap items from high street shops at 3x the price. But that's a very small few and never stops us going as often as we can. Always decent sellers with good bargains

We hired the soft play area for my daughter's 4th birthday and I was really impressed with it. The staff had decorated a lovely little area in the cafe for all the kids to sit and scofe! The food they laid on was perfect, able to cater for all dietary requirements, and all the party you could wish for. Happy for us to bring our own birthday cake and all the mums and dads that came said what a lovely place it was as they hadn't been before. Well they have now and say they will be coming back for more, hopefully maybe to book more parties! Thank you to the lovely staff in the cafe for doing the beautiful food, who were so friendly and helpful. This comes very highly recommended!

User

It was mine and my daughters first time here today, our first stop was the cafe..

I had the bacon, chicken and advacado sandwich which was excellent accompanied by a cappuccino.

My daughter had the tuna jacket potatoe which she really enjoyed.

The staff are welcoming, efficient and friendly I would thoroughly recommend you take a visit.

We had a look around the individual units which were displayed lovely and everything was well priced and clean.

User

I've been here a few time now and love the place . On Saturday my wife and I decided to have something to eat here before we had a nose around and I must say the all day brunch we ordered was excellent , a really hidden gem

User

I have recently taken on a small unit (Needles) at Molly's Den Christchurch after previously having one at the New Milton site.

I love coming down and meeting all the other traders and also Ruth, who is always so helpful and who spends a lot of time photographing and promoting all the items for sale in our units. Thank you Ruth.

I Have had my own stall here 'Quirky's'

since August, & love being at Molly's New Milton.

The stock changes every week on all stalls, and there are so many Bargains to be found.

The kids play area has just had a complete make over.

And looks fab.

The food is great and very reasonably priced.

The Staff are friendly & always around to help.

If I can stop spending my profits on more unusual collectables & furniture,

I will be doing ok!

So New Milton Molly's? ...

I Love it , a Great place & well worth a visit. Soon :)

User

Great quirky place for unusual stuff.... fab tea shop & the coffee n walnut cake is the nuts .

User

First visit to Molly’s den. Very impressed with the layout, goods for sale and reasonable prices. Was initially interested in buying some shabby chic furniture for the new garden cabin. Then my wife and I saw the Coastal Dreams display. We don’t normally agree immediately on things but this time we did. It was fabulous and perfect for the cabin. We decided to have something to eat in the cafe. Had a really nice breakfast then we went back and bought a number of pieces from Coastal Dreams. The staff and stall holders were extremely helpful and helped put the furniture in our car. We can’t wait for the cabin to be erected to see the furniture and accessories in place. So glad we decided to visit. We will certainly be back

User

First time here & I LOVE IT!!! such an awesome place to mooch around. Had lunch there too which was one of the nicest lunches I've had out & came away with some beautiful items 💕 Lovely staff too which always makes such a difference x

User

Fabulous place with such a variety of stalls, there will be something for everybody. I bought from 4/5 different stalls. Beautifully displayed unique items...I think I was there at least two hours!! Great coffee shop and toilets. Free parking so no rush...wrap up warm! Will be visiting often...

User

We visited New Milton when it first opened, although not full of occupied stalls, it much more interesting than it was today... 80% of the stalls seemed to just have car boot rubbish in a display case, for 5 x the cost. Not impressed at all. The queue to pay was ridiculous as I only wanted to pay for 2 drinks and a slice of cake from the cafe - they can't take card payments so you have to go to the main pay point and queue. My husband had finished his drink and eaten his cake by the time I made it back to the cafe. We won't be going back. On a more constructive note, the menu in the cafe looked really interesting and the coffee (almost cold by the time I drank it) was really lovely.

User

Very easy to look around but please update your signs outside which state that there is Mollys Den at New Milton. We travelled to New Milton only to be disappointed that it was no longer there.

User

Interesting place , worth a visit , easily lose a couple of hours looking at everything. Crafts and antiques. Wrap up this time of year it not that warm inside , could do with better lighting to improve it more

User

I love looking around all the different stalls to see if I can grab a bargain and you can get lost for hours wandering around looking at stuff. The play area is OK but feel £4 for an 18 month child to play is a bit steep and not good value for money. Children under 5 should really only be a couple of quid to get in

User

I have been using the soft play area with my baby and a friend of mine with a toddler comes too...the area is really cold....this is an area for children...the heater seemed to be blowing some warm air out, but it was really cold...my babys hands were freezing..inside the play bus it is dark....too dark for children to play in..why are there no lights...this is a hazard if you ask me. It would be really nice if there were more things for babies to play with, ie a smaller ball pool maybe, with some baby toys in a little fenced off area to keep thebigger kids from taking the toys maybe... First time we went it was ok, pretty quiet...this time there were just loud screaming kids who just wanted to fight and cry all the time....then after school hours came big kids who took over the place....not fun when there are toddlers who get pushed, little crawling babies wgo get knocked over....most of their mums just congregated outside of the play area not taking much notice. There are plenty of soft play cafes with good lighting, even funky lights up for babies to get sensory enjoyment from, and toys for babies too...please don't take this as me moaning, I'm not... I ll come again with my baby for sure...but um just sating how it is and what can be improved maybe. The worst thing, is no lighting in the bus....kids just don't want to go in there, or don't want to stay in there for long because of it. Ive heard people comment on it.... and I also know friends who have been there and wont go there again because it was too cold...winter is approaching....do kids need to wear hats and gloves in a play area?

I like the stalls....I wont buy second hand stuff, a lot of it looks like car boot stuff...but the new stuff, and hand made stuff I really nice and worth looking at. I generally like the place as a whole.. its interesting.

User

Love the stalls so much stuff, but a few stalls were empty. Your staff are wonderful. However my main grievance is that your play area that I used today with my 10month old, was filthy, covered in Dust & dirt & hair. I Had to fish out an old rasin from my daughters mouth that she found on the floor. Speaking of the floor it wasn't properly covered in padding underneath was concrete. (very dangerous) the bar above the slide is dangerous as well. Nothing was clean in the play area, I wiped most of it down because my daughter wanted to play. Secondly, the 'playbus' no one in their right mind would rent that for a party. It had duct tape everywhere, the foam panels were litrally stuck on with duct tape. you could see chip board, it was horrible and not safe for children, quite clearly a botch job. I think it's a great idea to have a children's play area and I was impressed that under ones played free. However if I had to of paid I would of got my money back. Such a shame because I love molly's den.

The guy behind the cafe counter cooking needs some serious customer service training, he's rude and loud. I've heard so many people complain about his lack of customer service skills yet he still seems to be upsetting everyone. Girls behind the main till and management was very professional dealing with my complaint though. I feel the cafe would get much better business if he wasn't there, many people I've spoken too won't go there because how rude the cook is. I won't be using the cafe anymore that's for sure.

User

The girl who claims to be the manager of the cafe thought it was acceptable to scream and shout at my friends 2 year old child just because he was looking at the drinks cabinet. She went on to question my friends parenting skills in a deeply inappropriate and aggressive manner. If the cafe is not child friendly, then why is it adjacent to a kids play area? My friends and I shall not be returning and one would hope a disgraceful person such as she would be immediately trained in customer service, though I feel those skills are way beyond her intellect.
