After a quick demo of techniques it's over to you to get sculpting, squidging and shaping your clay works of art to life. You'll also get to throw a pot on the wheel. Decorate your creations with coloured underglazes and leave the rest to us. Work will be fired, glazed and fired again ready for collection 4-6 weeks later.

Ever fancied trying your hand at making something with clay?
Come and learn how at this taster session suitable for all abilities. I will demonstrate a range of hand building and modelling techniques, plus how to throw on the potters wheel. Then it's up to you to get making, squidging, sculpting your ideas to life.
You could make your very own mug, vase or small planter, or something more sculptural. Finally decorate creations with coloured underglaze paints.
... Leave the rest to me. I will glaze and fire your work, ready for 4-6 weeks later.

Christmas decorations & lantern workshop at my studio Christchurch Dorset.
Come and get creative at this taster workshop. I will show you some hand building and modelling techniques, then it's up to you to get making your own house style lanterns or decorations.
You can expect to make one or two houses (depending on size) and then decorate with coloured underglaze paints.... Leave the rest to me. I will glaze and fire your makes, ready for collection (or delivery) in time for Christmas!

Porcelain vessels - Craft your own at this three hour taster workshop.
6th October 10am-1pm

Come and discover the translucent properties of porcelain.
You will learn how to create tealight holders and will have the opportunity to try paper clay and P2 porcelain. The class focuses on slab technique and surface design. Once complete, decorate your wares with coloured underglaze paints to finish. I will then glaze and fire your work ready for collection around 4-6 weeks later (or delivery for P&P costs). You can expect to make up to three pieces to be fired. Booking e...ssential.
Suitable for all skill levels. Class sizes are small and friendly, and I will be on hand to offer support with ideas and processes throughout.
