Hello all. Long time no post, I'm aware. Its been a busy autumn and things show no sign of slowing down through the winter. However, as Christmas approaches, I find myself with less time and more social conscience to send cards to all my wonderful and loyal customers, so this year I'd like to send you all a virtual happy Christmas greeting and tell you that all the tips I receive between now and Christmas, as well as the money I would usually spend on cards, will be donated to Crisis and a local foodbank so that others may be able to enjoy a Christmas dinner as we are all fortunate enough to so do. Here's to a happy, healthy and prosperous 2019 for us all.

I'd just like to say thank you to all the friends who have supported my business over the years. After an epic 9 hour, count them, 9 hours, round trip to Gatwick I can confirm that I will not be taking any new Gatwick Airport bookings from now on. I've 3 trips left in my diary and they cannot be done soon enough. May I point out that I am more than happy to offer trips to and from Huntingdon Train Station where a direct train service runs to and from Gatwick Airport. Also I can highly recommend a couple of colleagues around the area for Gatwick jobs. However, in the words of the Dragons, I'm out! All other airports continue to be covered. Do take a look at Manchester when booking your next trip. Twice the distance but half the trouble! Thanks to all my brilliant customers for your continued support and patronage, year after year. You're all awesome!

Have to go to Gatwick tonight for one of my few remaining pre-booked jobs. Actually dreading it tbh. Having made the decision to stop going, these remaining trips can't be over soon enough.

I don't know about Gatwick......... Southampton and back, 8.75 hours today. Bloody roadworks, accident and traffic everywhere..... Grrrr

On a more positive note, however, my super bus has done it again...... She's only gone and passed her council vehicle test! Not bad for a 16 year old with 300k miles + on the clock. Here's to another year of great trips with greatest customers..... As long as y'all leave Gatwick alone 😂😂 No gimmicks, no shiny shopfronts, no imitation! Just good old fashioned customer service. Screenshots below might indicate why Gatwick is just not an option any longer. These are reports since 2pm and I've just heard on the radio that's its no better still.

So, I've been talking about this for a long time but now I'm making it public. It's a decision not taken lightly and one which I may regret and /or reverse in the future but as of today, unless you're already booked in the diary, I will no longer be offering transfers to or from Gatwick Airport. Its now regularly taking well over 7 hours there and back and its starting to impact on my personal and business life. Its affecting my health and enjoyment of my work. I'm sorry if this causes problems for any of my regular customers, and I'm sure that if you were desperate, for the right price, I might consider a trip but for the immediate and foreseeable future, Gatwick is off the list. All other airports and seaports remain unaffected. From Heathrow to Manchester, Southampton to Tilbury I'll still do all the others.
