Had a great evening, food was very good and saying we had a very large party service was excellent. Would definitely visit again.

Food very good service good price abit high there's a big turnover of staff ? Maybe they need to settle in abit ? Had some good times there tho

All of us slimming world ladies went on Friday to your beautiful family restaurant nirvana lndian restaurant and the service was spot on seeing there was 25 of us our drinks and the food came out very quickly to us and there was no rush for us to leave thankyou all for a wonderful evening we'll be back again

Food was amazing however they think they can just sneak things on the bill without asking if you would like them and then try to be rude about it when you question it and refuse to pay for the extra item!

Condiments come free with poppadoms in most Indian restaurants if your going to charge customers for it then at least ask them if they want it first don't just put it on the table!

Fab food � i had salmon masala with coconut rice it was delicious.

Average, small portions. Told to use menu on line to pre-order only to be told after the menu was incorrect??

Service was not good asked for the bill after 15 minutes and asking again we got up and went to the bar .no one checked if the food was ok brought the wrong drink and staff miserable portions have gone smaller

I really, really wanted to like Nirvana - but sadly, all my 3 attempts have resulted in the same way. Disappointed. Food good but service was poor. After pre booking a table for 4 at 9pm, we had to wait a little while, which was fine (about 10 mins and we were served drinks). However, when seated and after about 15 mins we had to ask to order our meal and sadly that's where it started to go wrong. No one asked if our food was ok, we were almost ignored when clearing plates and glasses - which then made ordering more drinks seem like a chore. We didn't feel rushed, but it was clear that they wanted to set the restaurant up for the next service (next day) and therefore no effort was made at customer service. Shame really, as it is a local restaurant which I wanted to support - but only if I feel my custom is valued.

Food was very nice, service was terrible, took ages to get a jug of water, forgot to bring the rice out, the waiter was unsure what the dish was he put in front of my husband!! Waiter was very miserable, to a point where I asked if he wasn’t very happy, his reply was he was tired!!!! When the bill arrived we were charged for drinks we hadn’t had!I got the impression they thought because we had had a few drinks prior to the meal we wouldn’t notice. Very disappointed!!!!

Food not up to the standard we know Nirvana can achieve. Charged more than the price shown on website for meals. Didn’t like my Baileys served in a half pint glass. Young girl didn’t have a clue and looked completely out of her depth. Mark and Joanne are regular customers and are disappointed too.

Food just ok nothing special but expensive to what we normally pay, thought we would have a treat for mother’s day but wish we’d have had our usual takeaway at half the price. Not a lover of people standing over me while I eat and my plate disappearing before my knife and falk is down, not one person tried to make conversation and we all felt rushed. We like to chat and be friendly but that wasn’t going to happen last night won’t be back for a while really disappointed.

Very bland salmon tikka to start, followed by salty oil soup that should have been Kadhi Chingri. The main should never have been sent out of the kitchen! Told the staff it was terrible and disgusting and to take it away. They did. The staff said sorry.

I paid in full for my meal as no discount or concern was given and I wish to let others know about this fine indian dining experience. It was a waste of money. Very poor food of such a standard that it had no place being served in the worst transport cafe in the world. Why do people think it us ok to serve this standard of food and charge such ridiculous prices. Good luck to them, they will need it. I dont think I will be involved in this scam any longer.
