Went here for a meal last night for my boyfriends dads birthday and the service was great. I’m a fussy eater and they accommodated for my fussiness, also the waiter who served us was very smiley and friendly :)

We were lucky enough to get a table on the terrace on a very busy lunch time yesterday. I had the coconut king prawns with Chinese salad. Very tasty. Lovely staff

We have been a few times this year. Great food and great view. Always made us welcome. I don't understand why they do not take bookings. Maybe that is something they can review and maybe take deposit so they know table will be used etc. But there again I am not in the catering industry to know what it's like to deal with public. All I know is after a good walk it's nice to recharge batteries with splendid views nice food and drinks ready for walk back.

Took our son here on his first birthday and was surprised at how delicious the lunch was, good prices, friendly staff and decent chilled music too. Good few dairy free options for my wife too. Top service, would recommend and come again.

Staff brilliant, food excellent. Took my family for my daughters 50th Birthday. The staff couldn't do enough for us, everyone enjoyed themselves and had a thoroughly good time. The manageress made everyone feel special.

Love Ocean Beach been there a number of times sitting in the outside area. Great views and good food. Staff are all really nice and helpful and lots of them. Great few hours for a girlie catch up.

Have eaten here many many times with my family and the service and food is consistently excellent. Staff are always attentive and make us feel welcome. The Skate Wing and the Steak ciabatta are particular favourites � � �

Had our Christmas party here on Friday 8th. Place was packed and a great atmosphere. Cost was very good as the buffet was very varied and plenty of it. Also included a glass of Prosecco on entry. Disco was very good with loads on dance floor. Really got Christmas off to a good start.

Even as gales blew and the rain came down the food was still amazing, the females waiting the tables were great and the fact ocean beach are using paper straws was a nice bonus👌🏻

Short older guy serving at the till could have cracked a smile or made eye contact at least once!

Would have made you feel a little less like you were ruining his day even being there!🙁

Could never fault this place. Just a shame the premier inn at the half way house charges for parking now.

Visited twice this week for breakfast and as usual great food. For some reason there was a bread problem this week with no brown earlier in the week and no bread on Thursday which was a bit strange as I visited just after 9am. It is more expensive than most but the view on a sunny day is priceless.

Staff very friendly, good selection of food on menu, food was very well presented and we very much enjoyed our lunch and would return again.

Lovely tapas on a beautiful summer's evening. The waitresses need to wait till we have finished our meal before clearing plates, as this made us feel a little rushed

BUT. So dog unfriendly. Not allowed inside. Ok. But. You have that lovely outdoor seating area which says you can’t eat or drink while sitting there. ! Who is the area for ??? What is it’s purpose ??

You are missing a prime opportunity for dog walkers to eat / drink and increase your profits whilst sitting with their dogs !

Place is stunning, a brilliant location seeing as South End is a crap hole. May I suggest you ask your serving staff to crack a smile when taking orders, I'm not sure of the guy on the till had a pulse or not. Kudos for the paper straws.

Ocean Beach is my usual ‘go to’ restaurant for big birthday celebrations, 18ths, 21sts, 50ths. I booked this restaurant for my partners 30th birthday. The staff were very friendly and let me decorate the table before arrival and were very attentive throughout the whole meal. However, I was bitterly disappointed in the lack of options and the delay in food between starters and mains. I would say the restaurant was fairly busy and we were a table of 10, but an hour between taking our starters being taken away and our mains seemed like a long time to wait. In regards to the variety of options, it was very limited. Being a vegan, I’m very adaptable and usually knowing what I’m going to get is limited. The staff were very good at advising what was and wasn’t vegan, however it would be nice to see a wider variety of vegan/ vegetarian options. I know many people who do not visit just for this reason and it’s a shame as the views and staff are always fantastic.

Won't be eating here again. Hair on my chicken and mussels tasted horrible. Used to be lovely but gone down hill
