Yes a cheap night at the pictures with my daughter that was until she wanted scoops of ice cream to go with her popcorn and bag of sweets but very quiet only a handful of people in the screen so plenty of room to stretch out good fun had by all

Silverlink Odeon to see Star Wars Solo, staff were very friendly and helpful which added to our great evening. Food was really good and the staff brought our chicken gougons to our seats for us when they were cooked. We will be back 5 šŸ¤©

Great place top staff when things went wrong they got them sorted straight away couldnā€™t ask for more well done very good

Great movie went to see the Greatest Showman.

Found staff very helpful. It was very busy as it was Easter weekend so expected to queue fir drinjs, etc.

Lots of unaccompanied children though. Staff don't want to speak to any of them running around and shouting. I was very surprised be a group of about 8 boys who looked about 13 years old running round playing with guns. They ' shot' the rubber bullets into the ceiling of the bar area. When they wanted it back they were climbing on the seats. We were sitting having a drink. Surely staff should be trained to talk to the kids and tell them they can't run round and pulling chairs around etc. I know its not easy as they usualky give you a mouthful but its not nice for other cinema users

Excellent staff, clean cinema, good price, Peter Rabbit wonderful. Disappointed no rabbit ears but not the end of the world. Do think prices way over the top for sweets- take your own. Lovely afternoon.

Absolutely fab few hours out at silver link Wallsend, great seating, lots of leg room and reclining seats, no fuss, very Friendly staff and informative too, Costa on site with other food places attached to the building and on hand. Canā€™t grumble at all and I would say it was easier access than the metro centre ! Well done and well worth a visit, only gripe is that we had to pay for access through the tunnel from south of the river (A19).

Whatā€™s the point in having the card app if u canā€™t use it on the machine, end up going to the bar for the lass to get our points add.

User

Went to see Avengers in IMAX 3D. The recliner seats are excellent, but a bit pricey, as is charging extra to book on line, when you are saving the cost of staff. I didnā€™t have food, so canā€™t comment on that, other than to say I wish they didnā€™t sell nachos because all you you hear in quieter moments is people munching away. Annoying.

Saw Star Wars Last Jedi on Bixing day, loving the new electric reclining seats and the armrest tables make such a difference, yes these seats are expensive at around Ā£20 each but they made the hole experience so much more enjoyable.....well done Odeon@Silverlink

My only gripe is why do I have to have a 330ml bottle of lager put into a pint glass to take to my seat.....get bigger glasses so we can put 2 bottles in!!šŸ˜‚šŸ˜‚

User

Like most things at the cinema itā€™s the pricing off everything inside ! I get that profit needs to be made but to charge 3 x the amount you can buy elsewhere defeats the object of the full cinema experience!(people will pay if itā€™s reasonable) Cheers poundworld šŸ‘šŸ‘

I prefer the Odeon to Vue but two things are really starting to annoy me on the last few visits. One is people still messing on with their phones during the start of the movie and the second is the lack of staff on the confectionary, itā€™s a joke how long you have to wait to be served and it always seems that after serving each customer you then have to ignore the queue and walk to the next till for a chat before you ask the next customer to step forward. Iā€™ve even seen 3 staff serving one customer with only one till on.

User

Normally this place is great, friendly staff etc. But it seems to have lost its sparkle, the last two films I have been to see the place has been freezing. One we got free entry for another film, this one nothing. They said they would check the temperature but didnā€™t see any member of staff come in a see if everyone was ok. My grandson sat with his coat on with his hood up, he was so cold. šŸ˜Ÿ

User

Cinema screen, seats and booking system all excellent. Could have done with more staff serving on tills, only 2 were open, long queues for snacks but loads of staff visible chatting and cleaning. To be fair though as soon as I ask if another till could be opened they did. Prices are crazy though. Bought my nephew a bag of popcorn for Ā£5.50! šŸæ if anyone is going to this cinema for the first time...be prepared to be wowed by the facilities but take your own snacks and refreshments.

User

Not very impressed with the service. Specifically booked tickets with Odeon to see Avengers Infinity War to get the free posters. When we asked for them the member of staff didn't know much about them and then argued that we couldn't get the 2 different posters as only one poster comes out each week which isn't what is advertised. We showed her the website and she still said there was only one available. Extremely disappointed. Wish we'd chosen a different cinema venue

User

Having to queue at the food counter for tickets at peak time, even when youā€™re buying tickets for a film later that day is an absolute joke!

Why canā€™t there be at least a 1 window box office?!

User

Shame on you Odeon Silverlink and Metrocentre you being the only two Odeons in the Tyne & Wear region and you are not showing the Autism screening of Incredibles 2 on Sunday 22nd July, but you have lots of mainstream screenings of the same film. Very disappointed........

User

I went to see black panther and it was a brilliant film but it was let down by poor projectors. The picture was at least 10 years out of date, people looked blurry and air craft blue lights that should of stood out didnā€™t. There was no Dolby atmos which they should really have because its been out a good few years. Most of the staff were brilliant except for the muttering ticket checker who seemed to lack in confidence. Come on odeon have a update your being out done by the view cinema in Cramlington

User

I find it absolutely soul destroying that they have changed the nacho cheese sauce. Its like a cheap plastic equivalent in the cheese world. I often venture here just to eat nachos and now i will have to find a new nachos home. The world is ending.

User

False advertising for Peter rabbit weekend. Book tickets online and every child will get Peter rabbit ears.

No the staff just hand them out to people who purchased tickets on the day then jessy said tough we have ran out.

Spoke to manager today who was not very helpful.

Don't think will be using this cinema again as every time they advertise something they can't deliver on it.

Three very upset little nieces yesterday and spoilt the whole experience of going to the cinema.

I think I will be choosing Vue cinema in Cramlington from now on as this cinema does not seem to follow through with what the company advertised on its national website yet again.
