The Cullinan Diamond. 💎💎💎
This is arguably the most famous diamond in the world, it weighed 1.37 lb when discovered by a mining superintendent in South Africa, in 1905, and was named after the owner of the mine, Sir Thomas Cullinan.
It was given as a gift to the King of the United Kingdom (Edward VII) and was taken to Amsterdam to be cut. Nine large stones and 96 stones were taken from the rough diamond, including the famous Star of Africa which is 530.2 carats and is now p...art of the Crown Jewels, inserted into the Sceptre with the Cross. The pictures show what a diamond starts as (rough) and what it is cut to look like! The cut of the diamond is extremely important as this is what makes it sparkle.

Clogaus new Lewis Carroll’s collection ‘Queen of Hearts’ was inspired by two famous queens; Margaret, of The House of Lancaster and Queen Victoria.
In ‘Through the Looking Glass’, Alice is also crowned Queen. At the centre of this exquisite locket is a sparkling blue topaz stone which represents Alice’s iconic dress.
These pieces are inspired by the magical adventures of Lewis Carroll’s Alice. Alice Liddell, the young girl who inspired the author, first visited Llandudno in 1...861, staying at the Tudno Villa apartments, now the St. Tudno Hotel. The Liddell family also had a holiday home at Penmorfa on the West Shore.

Took my daughter in today to get her ears pierced. The lovely ladies made her feel really special & took time with her choosing earrings, explaining it all to her & the after care. Absolutely top customer service, highly recommended, not to mention the beautiful jewellery & presentation of the shop itself. Thank you we will definitely be back again �

Just returned from Oliver and J ........absolutely thrilled with my spoils!

Went a bit crazy and bought the most fabulous pair of Rose gold earrings. Then unfortunately I just had to buy a stunning Sophie Harley pendant with my initial on it. By then my old man was getting a bit nervous, so I suggested we renew our marriage vows. This meant the old man had to buy me a new and thicker rose gold wedding band!!

By then things were getting serious, so we were extremely relieved when Emily came to the rescue with some Viennese Whorls which she had just baked. I had two and then was marched out of the shop........

It is very nice environment with lovely people!
