We went for A birthday party and all the staff were very helpful and friendly the service was excellent the only problem was it cost a lot more than it said on the menu

Unless they added V A T to the prices on the menu .

Today we were a party of 15 for lunch. We all enjoyed the food very much. The service was also high standard. We weren't pressured which was important on this occasion. I was very impressed that a wide age-group all enjoyed the lunch equally.

Loved the ambiance of the place with outside seating and super cool interior. The service was excellent with really good food and fabulous cocktails. Well worth a visit.

Faultless food & service.. traveling in Uk from Australia & had almost given up on a good Shiraz from the Barossa... had the best eye fillet with fresh steamed greens.. simple but outstanding quality .. disappointed we only found it the day before we were leaving And from an Interior Designers view point the decor was very stylish & comfortable.

I went to the orange tree for a meal today 8/7/18 with my mum I was delighted that they had good vegetarian options as well as meat options on the menu

The desserts were lovely as well

Both mum and I chose from the vegetarian option of the menu

The food was good nicely presented and acceptable to the pallet thoroughly enjoyed the the meal

And the desserts we had were delicious

The place where we sat was clean and tidy

Our little waitress was lovely very pleasant who had good customer service

And yes I will be recommending to friends

After technical difficulties in the kitchen and a ‘bit of a wait’ for food I can genuinely say we still had an amazing meal. Staff were attentive and apologetic. Hasn’t put us off going again

My Daughter wanted her 21st Birthday meal at the Orange Tree, my husband and myself have never been before. I haven't really got anything bad to say as everything was lovely, although the Eaton Mess we had was a bit expensive for what it was. Definitely would go again but not have the Eaton Mess but hopefully they'll have the Sticky toffee pudding next time. Thank you for reading my review �

Honest Review: We had a table booked for 12.15pm for lunch and we arrived at 12.25pm, the lady at the front desk was incredibly miserable and it seemed it was almost too much trouble for her. We were sat at our table and nobody asked us if we would like a drink, we finally tracked a member of staff down and asked them if they would mind getting us a drink ! . I had a raspberry Bellini and it was completely flat, they had clearly used the last of an old bottle from the night before (not impressed).



However from then on it got better, the food was great and the service from this point was good.



The flowers on the ceiling as you walk in are a disaster, not quite sure why they would do that. They are so fake it’s embarrassing. They are overpowering for the small space, I can imagine it will feel very claustrophobic when it gets busy at the weekend. (Sorry)

Booked our anniversary meal here due to visiting on a couple of occasions for lunch. The table was booked for 7.30pm and was told our table wasn't ready even though we could see at least 4 tables for 2 people empty. We weren't seated until 8.05pm and the table was needed back for 9.15pm!

We were seated right next to the waiters counter/till where the staff seemed to congregate. We ordered starters and mains which were all delivered in a timely manner and piping hot and very tasty. But for us the night had been spoilt. We asked for the bill and left and even though they knocked 25% off the bill we still won't return. Our special night was spolit. The only person to apologise was a very sweet waitress. Shame the service let the food down!

Booked for a family meal for 10. Majority of the staff were polite and pleasant. Food was absolutely delicious and very well presented. They made me a vegan curry that was one of the best meals I have had. The only reason I rated it 3 rather than 5 was the environment was extreme uncomfortable. The restaurant was freezing cold and extremely draughty. We all had to wear our coats for the duration we f the meal and it was quite unpleasant, especially for my elderly parents. We spoke to the waitress and she informed us that the heating would be turned up, unfortunately the temperature didn't improve.

We would definitely go back as the food, decor and atmosphere was excellent.

Beautiful place. I enjoyed my small plate of jerk chicken strips rice and peas but there were no peas. Never mind. Staff seemed friendly but the service could have been slightly better.

My friends burger was inedible as it was that greasy, my vegetables weren't cooked properly and had the tiniest portion of rice with my skewer and the girl on the next table sent her skewer back because the chicken was undercooked

The staff were apologetic and removed the item from the bill which was fine but from an establishment where I used to see it as a treat to visit, I would be hesitant to go again

Normally come here for every occasion , birthdays , valentines etc etc. We decided to start our new year here as it’s normally spectacular service but this time around wasn’t very good at all , firstly we were told that the main dishes weren’t available to order so we had to take a little extra time to order but in this time we were asked over 3 times if we’d made a decision in the space of 5 minutes , then when the food came we were given around 60 seconds to try the food before being asked if it was okay ... at a glance we said yes .... it wasn’t ok my partners steak was over cooked but cold the sauce was cold and the potatoes under cooked she however felt like she couldn’t say anything as we’d said things are fine but in the end she voiced her concern to which the waitress just said well I hope the rest of your night is better ... was not the best start to 2018

Booked our anniversary meal here due to visiting on a couple of occasions for lunch. The table was booked for 7.30pm and was told our table wasn't ready even though we could see at least 4 tables for 2 people empty. We weren't seated until 8.05pm and the table was needed back for 9.15pm!

We were seated right next to the waiters counter/till where the staff seemed to congregate. We ordered starters and mains which were all delivered in a timely manner and piping hot and very tasty. But for us the night had been spoilt. We asked for the bill and left and even though they knocked 25% off the bill we still won't return. Our special night was spolit. The only person to apologise was a very sweet waitress. Shame the service let the food down!

Booked for a family meal for 10. Majority of the staff were polite and pleasant. Food was absolutely delicious and very well presented. They made me a vegan curry that was one of the best meals I have had. The only reason I rated it 3 rather than 5 was the environment was extreme uncomfortable. The restaurant was freezing cold and extremely draughty. We all had to wear our coats for the duration we f the meal and it was quite unpleasant, especially for my elderly parents. We spoke to the waitress and she informed us that the heating would be turned up, unfortunately the temperature didn't improve.

We would definitely go back as the food, decor and atmosphere was excellent.

Beautiful place. I enjoyed my small plate of jerk chicken strips rice and peas but there were no peas. Never mind. Staff seemed friendly but the service could have been slightly better.

My friends burger was inedible as it was that greasy, my vegetables weren't cooked properly and had the tiniest portion of rice with my skewer and the girl on the next table sent her skewer back because the chicken was undercooked

The staff were apologetic and removed the item from the bill which was fine but from an establishment where I used to see it as a treat to visit, I would be hesitant to go again

Normally come here for every occasion , birthdays , valentines etc etc. We decided to start our new year here as it’s normally spectacular service but this time around wasn’t very good at all , firstly we were told that the main dishes weren’t available to order so we had to take a little extra time to order but in this time we were asked over 3 times if we’d made a decision in the space of 5 minutes , then when the food came we were given around 60 seconds to try the food before being asked if it was okay ... at a glance we said yes .... it wasn’t ok my partners steak was over cooked but cold the sauce was cold and the potatoes under cooked she however felt like she couldn’t say anything as we’d said things are fine but in the end she voiced her concern to which the waitress just said well I hope the rest of your night is better ... was not the best start to 2018

Today we were a party of 15 for lunch. We all enjoyed the food very much. The service was also high standard. We weren't pressured which was important on this occasion. I was very impressed that a wide age-group all enjoyed the lunch equally.

Loved the ambiance of the place with outside seating and super cool interior. The service was excellent with really good food and fabulous cocktails. Well worth a visit.

Faultless food & service.. traveling in Uk from Australia & had almost given up on a good Shiraz from the Barossa... had the best eye fillet with fresh steamed greens.. simple but outstanding quality .. disappointed we only found it the day before we were leaving And from an Interior Designers view point the decor was very stylish & comfortable.

I went to the orange tree for a meal today 8/7/18 with my mum I was delighted that they had good vegetarian options as well as meat options on the menu

The desserts were lovely as well

Both mum and I chose from the vegetarian option of the menu

The food was good nicely presented and acceptable to the pallet thoroughly enjoyed the the meal

And the desserts we had were delicious

The place where we sat was clean and tidy

After technical difficulties in the kitchen and a ‘bit of a wait’ for food I can genuinely say we still had an amazing meal. Staff were attentive and apologetic. Hasn’t put us off going again

My Daughter wanted her 21st Birthday meal at the Orange Tree, my husband and myself have never been before. I haven't really got anything bad to say as everything was lovely, although the Eaton Mess we had was a bit expensive for what it was. Definitely would go again but not have the Eaton Mess but hopefully they'll have the Sticky toffee pudding next time. Thank you for reading my review �

Lovely food and service, my only complaint, is the staff need to ensure the tables have been cleaned before they show you to your seats and the cutlery is clean. Other than that, we love it.

Food was really good however when we booked a table for 9 people we were not told that we would be on two tables separated by an aisle, not really what we were expecting or wanted, from that point of view it was a little disappointing

Not up to it’s usual standard we felt like we were an inconvenience. Too many staff hanging around the till area one waitress kept pulling her leggings up in a most inappropriate manner. Starters arrived about a minute after placing our order they were luke warm.

Nothing new on the menu had to have the same vegetarian option although I couldn’t fault this it’s getting a bit boring

Honest Review: We had a table booked for 12.15pm for lunch and we arrived at 12.25pm, the lady at the front desk was incredibly miserable and it seemed it was almost too much trouble for her. We were sat at our table and nobody asked us if we would like a drink, we finally tracked a member of staff down and asked them if they would mind getting us a drink ! . I had a raspberry Bellini and it was completely flat, they had clearly used the last of an old bottle from the night before (not impressed).



However from then on it got better, the food was great and the service from this point was good.



The flowers on the ceiling as you walk in are a disaster, not quite sure why they would do that. They are so fake it’s embarrassing. They are overpowering for the small space, I can imagine it will feel very claustrophobic when it gets busy at the weekend. (Sorry)
