The Orchards Holiday Park is proud to be called the home of the Isle of Wight Mermaid Academy, brought to you by Fin2Fit. Gemma and Ian provide a truly unique experience . They will be back in the Easter holidays on Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from 1-2pm for £20. We will have our own Orchards Mermaid to open the outdoor heated pool on Thursda...y 23rd May. We spent a lovey three nights with you over the bank holiday weekend. Lovely clean accommodation, perfect views from our accommodation. Really nice & friendly staff. Lovely little takeaway serving freshly cooked food at a reasonable price, friendly staff. Perfect for a family holiday. Thank you

We booked a last minute few days away, and we were not disappointed this site is lovely, friendly staff, very clean facilities, the facilities were outstanding. We were lucky to have fab weather so the outdoor pool was a total bonus, indoor pool was kept very clean and they are very strict with numbers so as not to overcrowded. I can not wait to return.

Third time here and we'll be back next year. The peace and quiet is wonderful, the setting is picture postcard, the staff are lovely, the amenities are spotlessly clean and spacious. Would recommend this place to anyone who doesn't need mass entertainment and is looking for a laid back base for their holiday.

The Orchards is by far the best camping site we have been to on the island, from the cleanliness to the staff and all facilities it's faultless and can't wait to come back again. The Southwell family �����

My daughter had an amazing time today at The Orchards Holiday Park!! � She had the most amazing experience of being a real life mermaid � the instructors were both amazing and in the water with the kids making sure they were all confident and safe rather than standing out on the side the whole time. In my daughters own words she said ‘I’ve dreamt about this, it’s a dream come true!!’ � thankyou to The Orchards Holiday Park and Fin2Fit �

Made a very last minute decision for a few nights break before some important family appointments. We wasn't disappointed in our choice! The staff were amazing after we requested to be close to facilities for our autistic son, we were put within 2mins of everything! The staff were amazing and the facilities were VERY clean! So peaceful as well and I perfect location to get out and about in the area and some nice places nearby to visit. Already said we'll be returning and hoping to arrange it as a family trip with the grand parents as well.

Just returned from a 10 day stay with our touring caravan .Excellent site and kept very clean. shower room and washing up facilities were exceptional with the added bonus of cyclist/walkers drying room . Both indoor and outdoor pools very good , shop had sufficient stock and not overly priced. The only problem we had was the sap dripping from a tree ( presumably due to the extreme heat ) which made everything sticky if you left it out for any length of time. Great bus facility right outside site too.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay here... lovely pitches, facilities and staff, easy to book and very relaxing time thank you Orchards 👍😁

Excellent facilities - we were in a Camper van and had a brilliant spot.

Clean shower block/ toilets.

Take away and shop well stocked with reasonable prices.

Lovely outdoor pool - we were in every day - (it was too hot for us to go in the indoor pool.)

We would recommend this site for couples or families.

A lovely park with wonderful facilities,friendly and helpful staff,there is also a well stocked shop which also sell newspapers. The take-away next to the shop is very reasonably priced and the food is good. If you have a dog there is a small secure field to exercise it in. Hope to return sometime in the future.

A family friendly great place to relax. This year will our 4th visit, even celebrated our 25th anniversary there, the staff were great at helping make our day extra special, cant wait to go back.

We have just come back from 9 nights here - a lovely site which was very clean - the facilities block was great and also very clean ( never had to wait for a shower) the only thing I would have liked was maybe some swings or more at the park for the little ones with no entertainment maybe a bigger park for them so they could be entertained for longer - one of the best sites that we saw on the island �

We had a lovely weekend at the orchards great site! Will be returning very soon.

Site was great perfect for what we needed it for but could of really done with a bar or some sort of small evening entertainment as such maybe just bingo or some karaoke anything very quiet and peaceful. Found staff helpful and immediately responded to our issue (no gas) keep it up x

Lovely site, the biggest showers we have ever had on a campsite - amazing! Would have been 5 stars if the showers stayed on longer than 18 seconds at a time and the biggest bug bear was the WiFi! Extortionate to say the least! The most expensive we have ever had to pay. WiFi down when we arrived so bought the WiFi device at £25.... 5gb lasted two Netflix films and the other WiFi available is costly too! Every other site we have ever visited is usually £10-£15 for the whole week for 3 devices and unlimited.

One niggle however was that they mix tents and caravans together, so we had a great first 5 days but come the weekend they sited a family in a tent right next to us even thought we were the only party on our field? We then had to put up with 4 children playing football and shouting till 11 at night, quite a change from our first few nights. Maybe it's something the orchards should look at changing.
