As a lot of you know, we are currently have some work done to our conservatory area of the pub.
Unfortunately, this does mean that at the moment we can not have dogs in the garden due to the only way of access being through the pub, in which we can not have dogs walking through as it is a food establishment. There is a notice in our front window here just as a reminder.
We apologise for any inconvenience and as soon as the work has finished, dogs will be allowed back into the... garden by using the side entrance.

*POLITE NOTICE* Due to renovations in our conservatory in the pub, we can not have dogs in our beer garden until further notice. Apologies for any inconvenience.

Very good pub/carvery/ala carte restaurant

We go there for carvery lunches usualy.

They do special occasion meals too, mothers day etc.

To get a table there you have to book, it is very popular and usualy full, especialy for Sunday carvery but we managed to get a table yesterday ok.

Food is of high standard, 2 course carvery under ┬Ż14 each, drinks are reasonably priced.

Staff are very good, fast and courteous.

They are very accomodating for disabled access, moving chairs and tables around when we take my Mum. They have a lift to access the top function suite (mothers day function).

There are currently some works going on which has changed the access to the outside decking area. There is a bar outside which they open as occasions call for, we attended a wedding there some years ago.

Ducks, geese; swans, morehens and hundreds of carp in the lake outside which children can feed.

Never having stayed in the hotel i cannot comment, but ive not heard any complaints from guests when passing reception.

Parking can be an issue when they are busy but we have always managed to get in eventualy.

Overall, excellent! Pleased to recommend it to anyone.

Stayed here two nights. Lovely room; comfy bed ; food in restaurant excellent (piping hot and served by cheerful friendly staff) and great situation.

Stayed here three times while working away and I have not one complaint at all. All the staff are helpful and friendly, the beer and snap is top notch, rooms are clean and well kept! Staff even kept in contact with us while we checked in late and stayed around till we arrived. Brilliant!!

Stayed at The Oysterfleet hotel 31st aug and 1st sep , first evening we had a meal for 14 people the food was fantastic , plenty of it too , well presented , clean , staff were fantastic couldn't fault anything at all , well done to the staff and the hotel for a welcoming stay and excellent food , rooms and staff ten out of ten thank you

My husband and I have stayed here several times when visiting my daughters and grandchildren. Rooms are lovely. Breakfast is great! Bar food is very good, and excellent value! We've had the pre Christmas menu for all the family, which was perfect! My daughter's wedding reception in the function room upstairs a few years ago was brilliant too! The garden is wonderful, with it's views across the lake! Staff are all very helpful and pleasant. Thank you.

My family hired the function room for a celebration and also stayed in the hotel overnight (along with other family members and guests). Everything was fantastic. The function room is huge, has itŌĆÖs own bar and can be set out how you like. We also opted to include a buffet too which everyone loved. Right from when we booked we found everyone at the Oysterfleet so helpful and accommodating even after a few calls to check details and ask for changes to tables etc.



We were able to decorate the tables during the day and was checked in on to make sure everything was ok and to see if we needed anything.



It was lovely to be able to stay the night and not need to travel home late at night and we were delighted with how big the room was and the super comfy beds. We stayed in a family room (2 adults and 2 babies) and we all slept through the night from being so comfortable (including the babies!).



We loved everything so much that we will be booking again for any other upcoming celebrations we have.

I would like to thank Michael and the whole team for making our Silver Wedding celebration so perfect. Everything was exactly as we wanted, and nothing was too much trouble. We had about 20 rooms booked in the hotel, and everyone had a great time. Also, many thanks to the team at breakfast on Sunday, who did amazingly & I apologise for thinking that everyone coming to breakfast at the same time was a good idea.

Beautiful to sit outside and have lunch and a good catch up with my friend yesterday. Bit of building work going on at the moment but I guess they are making improvement. Was still lovely.

A lovely weekend spent here! Wonderful and friendly staff who made my aunt and uncles 60th wedding anniversary celebrations so special! Room was outstanding! Breakfast was delicious and a great variety! Definitely coming here again!

After a long drive we decided to eat in their Lighthouse Restaurant and what a fabulous meal it was. The starters were cooked to perfection and we wouldn't have been disappointed it that had been our main course! The main course of braised Ox cheeks in red wine was beautifully tender and flavoursome. And the cost..... try it for yourself and you won't believe what you are paying!

Stayed here many times whilst visiting our friends on the Island. Nice hotel, very friendly staff as always.



I had the carvery dinner on Easter Sunday in the restaurant which was delicious! Breakfast this morning was also really good..

Lovely to stay in all the rooms are quite large and you have a pub downstairs breakfast is good for another ┬Ż7:50 each as well, staff are friendly and hardworking and just nice.

Highly recommend this hotel lovely staff rooms clean and tidy, beds comfortable it's quiet and just all around pleasant stay definitely value for money

We were in the restaurant, which is beautifully set out, despite the awful weather, it was still nice to look out onto the decking. The waitresses were very friendly and did not rush or hassle us. The food was ok, but none of the courses come with vegetables or potatoes, these are an extra. I had the Hunters chicken and although a huge portion, it was rather dry. Another of our party had the Turkey dinner, and had to ask for extra gravy, as the dish was so dry. The starters and desserts were lovely. It was a lovely relaxed afternoon, a couple of impovements on the food and I will be rating it 5 stars

Quite a nice place to stay overlooking the lake and snow. Good breakfast at extra expense.

Room was fine and did the job but expected a double bed rather than two singles pushed together. No power, but a crazily hot shower that almost scalded me even turned down into the blue cold zone’┐Į.



Had a good night's sleep in the end once the music had stopped in the bar and the St Patricks day revellers had departed.

It was lovely to be able to stay the night and not need to travel home late at night and we were delighted with how big the room was and the super comfy beds. We stayed in a family room (2 adults and 2 babies) and we all slept through the night from being so comfortable (including the babies!).



We loved everything so much that we will be booking again for any other upcoming celebrations we have.

I would like to thank Michael and the whole team for making our Silver Wedding celebration so perfect. Everything was exactly as we wanted, and nothing was too much trouble. We had about 20 rooms booked in the hotel, and everyone had a great time. Also, many thanks to the team at breakfast on Sunday, who did amazingly & I apologise for thinking that everyone coming to breakfast at the same time was a good idea.

Beautiful to sit outside and have lunch and a good catch up with my friend yesterday. Bit of building work going on at the moment but I guess they are making improvement. Was still lovely.

A lovely weekend spent here! Wonderful and friendly staff who made my aunt and uncles 60th wedding anniversary celebrations so special! Room was outstanding! Breakfast was delicious and a great variety! Definitely coming here again!

After a long drive we decided to eat in their Lighthouse Restaurant and what a fabulous meal it was. The starters were cooked to perfection and we wouldn't have been disappointed it that had been our main course! The main course of braised Ox cheeks in red wine was beautifully tender and flavoursome. And the cost..... try it for yourself and you won't believe what you are paying!

Stayed here many times whilst visiting our friends on the Island. Nice hotel, very friendly staff as always.



I had the carvery dinner on Easter Sunday in the restaurant which was delicious! Breakfast this morning was also really good..

Lovely to stay in all the rooms are quite large and you have a pub downstairs breakfast is good for another ┬Ż7:50 each as well, staff are friendly and hardworking and just nice.

Highly recommend this hotel lovely staff rooms clean and tidy, beds comfortable it's quiet and just all around pleasant stay definitely value for money

We were in the restaurant, which is beautifully set out, despite the awful weather, it was still nice to look out onto the decking. The waitresses were very friendly and did not rush or hassle us. The food was ok, but none of the courses come with vegetables or potatoes, these are an extra. I had the Hunters chicken and although a huge portion, it was rather dry. Another of our party had the Turkey dinner, and had to ask for extra gravy, as the dish was so dry. The starters and desserts were lovely. It was a lovely relaxed afternoon, a couple of impovements on the food and I will be rating it 5 stars

Quite a nice place to stay overlooking the lake and snow. Good breakfast at extra expense.

Room was fine and did the job but expected a double bed rather than two singles pushed together. No power, but a crazily hot shower that almost scalded me even turned down into the blue cold zone’┐Į.



Had a good night's sleep in the end once the music had stopped in the bar and the St Patricks day revellers had departed.
