Even though the weather today is a bit glum, We are still celebrating the birthday of Palmerston's wonderful manager! 🎂

... We are keeping things indoors due to the rain but everyone has homemade soup, a nice hot stew or some good old fashioned sausage and mash for lunch to keep warm And then lots of hot drinks and cream cakes to follow!

We have a family of squirrels living in the trees in our garden. They visit daily to forage and just to see what's going on. It looks like we may have some little additions as well! Our staff and service users love to watch them and find new ways to hide their treats.

We have our red bags.

We do lots of activities in our home, some of the favourites are our baking days. Our service users love getting involved with baking and then eating the treats they make.

We had our party in the park on the 28th may 2018. after some thunderstorms over the weekend we were keeping our fingers crossed for the good weather - luckily it turned out to be a beautiful day. We had a great turn out of people with plenty of games, food, drinks and chatter! We were joined by the staff and service users from Langley lodge nursing home and Bliss residential care home. this has also now formed new bonds for our service users which we are going to try to p...romote with further outings.

If you are in our area, please pop in as it is our open day today between 2-4 food and refreshments available plus crafts table and prehistoric playground fun for the little people.

Food is already being prepared! We have moussaka (greek) being made and pancit noodles (phillipines).
