This is the Shillingstone railway station.
The new Trailway opened in May and there is now a hard surface route cross country from Blandford to Sturminster Newton; about 8 miles. The Trailway caters for walkers (with our without dogs), cyclists and horse riders. The old station at Shillingstone, about half way, is open for refreshments. It is a good day out for you and your family and friends.
The TV series Broadchurch has now finished, but here is my photo of the place.
A bit colder this weekend but the bluebells are out in Dorset. Wonderful sight.
We have just had a wonderful holiday here in the South of France. Accommodation for up to 15 people, near the sea and the mountains. We even went into the pool .http://www.ourholidayhome.net/
We looked in our pond and low and behold there were hundreds of tadpoles. Here is a picture of just a few. So glad to see them because we thought they had all dies in the frost.
