With the ride on mower out of action it was time for some hard work with trusty John Deere! That's the orchard mown ready for these chicks first outing onto the grass, a few braved the doorway, by tomorrow they will all be roaming further.

Lottie has been helping to make these gift bags up for our Easter Egg hunt next week. She only ate 'a few that the wrappers had come off'!! Good Friday & Saturday we will be having a BBQ & Bar, plus a few Easter crafts for children, meet some Chicks and Ducklings, and an Easter Egg Hunt.

Kelmarsh Hall and Gardens Artisan Fair and Spring Walk 11-3pm today. Homemade pies, sausage rolls and pasties plus delicious Hot Cajun Chicken Wraps and Duck & Hoisin Sauce. All meat reared on our Northamptonshire farm.

Fresh delivery of Whittlebury Bakery bread this morning. French baguettes, bloomers, sliced loaves and this Delicious Fruit Breakfast Loaf. We open at 9 and have plenty of meat, cakes, pies, cheese, veg, milk and more.

Today is the launch of 'The Great Northamptonshire Surprise ' at Rockingham Castle. Championing great Food and Drink in Northants.

8.30pm, the last pies are out and the oven can be turned off! Phew!

Thrilled to be recommended by parents on Wiki Places For Kids. We have new colouring books and crayons to keep little people busy whilst they are at the cafe and our 'animal area' is expanding, have you seen our new bunnies and been greeted by the kittens yet?

What a Beautiful Morning here at Pastures. Farm Shop and Cafe open until 5pm or you can find us Higham Ferrers Farmers Market and Grendon Daffodil Festival in the Church. Tomorrow we will be at Walthamstow Farmers' Market and London Fields Sunday Market.

Up early making today's cakes. We have Toffee Butterscotch and Very Berry. Farm Shop opens 9-5pm Wednesday to Saturday.

We have several customers who already do this- order online/via email james@pasturespoultry.co.uk and collect from the farm shop or your local farmers market. We provide the tubs which can be washed and re-used and then returned next time we see you.
