How To Train Yourself To Enjoy Broccoli (And Other Foods You Don't Like) https://hubs.ly/H0dvTGj0
Death and grief is hard and there is no one magic way to move through this time as we are all unique and we all cope or manage it in different ways. This account from Thich Nhat Hanh about the death of his mother resonates with me as I too had a vivid dream about my father who died in 2003. I didn’t experience the expansion of the moment as he did but what a wonderful way to think of death.....they live on inside us. 💞

You hear of children being scheduled for after school classes and weekend classes. I’m all for variety and exposing children to arts and sports if they enjoy it. Talent is everywhere and you never know what may spark a passion. But, it’s equally important for them just to be children, play and just ‘be’, without having to race about here and there.

Early stages of research but very interesting and potentially exciting.
“Using computer games to train the brain has been studied in the healthy ageing population, and also with other diseases which affect the brain such as Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s. These studies have generally found that brain training is beneficial for improving thinking – although there is much debate about whether brain training could improve movement problems or improve quality of life for people living with these brain diseases.”
“Most coughs are caused by viruses, which cannot be treated by antibiotics and will clear up on their own. Yet despite this, research has previously found that 48% of UK GP practices have prescribed antibiotics for a cough or bronchitis.”

“41% increase in under-25s being treated in hospital for type 2 diabetes”.
These are shocking stats for a condition that an be avoided. Many people don’t understand the impact of this condition, loss of limbs and death. It’s not just something you have to take medication for, we need more awareness and education on what will happen to you if you don’t eat healthily.
Our children are our future, no wonder the previous generation is predicted to outlive some of them.
