December Dementia walk will take place on Thursday 13th at 11.00am. Anyone wishing to participate will need to be outside the Buttercross Cafe for 10.50am. Following a lovely, leisurely stroll around the park, we will be met by Father Christmas at the Buttercross Cafe where we can all enjoy a hot drink and mince pie (courtesy of FoCP). We hope to see you there!

We need your help! Friends of Central Park want to install a basketball ring with a tarmac area to help widen the choice of facilities already available at the park. The facility would be free of charge to all those who participate, providing a fun and exciting way to engage with others whilst getting fit! We are trying to do this through the Aviva Community Fund to help and we need you to vote! Please click on the image below to register - it will take you no longer than 2 minutes. Lets all work together to make our park great!

Do you live near Central Park? Are you concerned about speeding cars? If so, there is a residents meeting scheduled for Tuesday 13th November at 1630hrs. The meeting will take place at the bowls pavillion in Central Park with Superintendent Andy Gipp. We hope to see you there...

On Sunday 14th October the Perkins Great Eastern Run is taking place and I am in the process of trying to recruit 300 volunteers to help Marshal the course on the day.
In return for volunteering, we are able to give volunteers a t-shirt to keep and a snack pack to eat while they are helping.

Family a Fun Day 2018 Peterborough Community Cricket Cup.
Weeks of planning come to fruition with community cricket brought back to Central Park Pboro with Team from 5 Local Mosques playing reps from Council, Police and Fire Service as part of today’s City Family Fun Day which included a youngsters Cricket session after the adult match. Mosque Team won by 39 runs so winning the Peterborough Community Cricket Cup. Thanks to all partners and great support from Amran and his Lut...on colleagues. Fund raising charity partner benefiting from day: Pancreatic Cancer UK co-ordinated by Abdul Choudhuri (Chairman of Faizan E Madina Mosque and Peterborough Joint Mosque Council)

Me and my family went on Sunday it was an amazing place, my girls loved the pool and park. Plenty of seating and plenty of shade from the sun � if needed. The weather was perfect. Will definitely be going back again ��

Lovely trees, which my boys love to climb, pick up pine cones etc... My dad also enjoys a stroll around the park. Feel like a regular now at the Buttercross Cafe!

Lovely and green! Makes a difference from my local park (Thorney Village)

Love � place and so nice � I like dis places

Love bringing my kids here! Always a fun day out � and love coming to the buttercross for lunch and an ice cream. Always a welcoming environment x

Central Park is a great place. My kids love the paddling pool and the playgrounds and we're regulars at the Buttercross Café.

There are also Fitness classes for Mums running all year around - which are awesome :)
