Following a number of questions from our customers, we want to take the opportunity to give you an update of our current position.
Sentinel Leisure Trust have recently been notified by East Suffolk Council that they intend to go out to the market for a more commercial contract this year – beginning on 15th October 2020. We have been invited to participate in the Council’s process and will be supporting staff, customers and stakeholders. The current Partnership between Sentin...el Leisure Trust and East Suffolk Council includes Waterlane Leisure Centre, Bungay Pool & Gym, Sports and Play Development and outdoor services such as Dip Farm and Lowestoft Beach Huts & RNLI Lifeguards.
Sentinel Leisure Trust will continue to be the Strategic Leisure Partner for Great Yarmouth Borough Council and the wider SLT Group will continue to manage and operate its own facilities and services under its charitable status and board of volunteer trustees – reinvesting into the local community. Services include Broadland Health & Fitness, Nirvana Health & Fitness, Adventure Island Play Park, Raw Soccer, Barnard’s Soccer Centre and Caldecott Hall Country Club.

What does Sentinel Swim school have to offer...Read on to find out about our wide range of classes available across all of our sites.
Adult and child Lessons. A great way to introduce your baby to water and help them gain confidence. Our lessons are planned around having fun in the pool while following the Swim England discovery ducklings programme.
... Pre school Swim Lessons. Small group lessons designed for 3 year olds. These help the child gain independence in the pool and follow the Swim England Ducklings Programme.
Main Swim School. These lessons are designed for children from the age of 4 years and over covering all swim England Learn to swim stages from 1 to 7. After these we also offer stage 8,9 and 10 in pre competitive swimming and/or rookie lifeguard classes.
Adult swim Lessons. It’s never too late learn or brush up on your technique and so we also offer lessons designed for adults too. Following the Swim England Adult Programme to take you from gaining water confidence right through to being a confident and able swimmer.
1-1 Lessons. Maybe group lessons aren’t for you/your child ?? That’s not a problem here at Sentinel as we also offer 1-1 lessons across all of our sites. We tailor the lessons to meet the need of the swimmer, whatever their goal may be.
