What can I say really enjoyed our lunch here the service was great ,the food was outstanding. We would like to say big thanks to the chef .Lovely position were the pub is and a very dog friendly pub which is great, finished with a nice stroll along the canal very relaxing with the dogs . We will definitely be returning with one of our walks we organise with Bearded Collie Group

We came over yesterday for dinner for a friends birthday and it was amazing, we were an hour early for our booking but we were seated straight away, the service was excellent and the food was exceptional, huge plates. We will definately be back.

Tonight was our second visit to this pub, we have enjoyed ourselves once again! Excellent service, friendly staff, fabulously delicious food! We enjoyed a selection of steak, battered fish and the catch of the day, all of which were faultless. We would recommend to all of our friends wanting an excellent meal! ��

If anyone has rated this less than 5* then you’re probably used to a shitty weatherspoons! Absolutely beautiful, locally produced food, at an extremely reasonable price! Best pub food I’ve ever had!! As for the idiots saying it’s overpriced... eat your overdone, prepackaged shit and jog on! Love you Neil �

Fantastic food, service and price!!! We have been to the Plume of Feathers a few times now and have never been disappointed, the staff are always friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them. The food is always delicious and portion sizes are really big at an affordable price. Just want to say thank you to Kate today who looked after our table, very friendly and always checking everything was to our liking. We will definitely be visiting again soon ☺

By far the best pub/eatery I’ve ever been to.

I don’t even know how to describe the food because it was just outstanding, Staff were welcoming and friendly and I would definitely recommend to anyone, ignore the rubbish comments because some people just aren’t happy if the food isn’t bland and it doesn’t come with a free toy, absolute jokers �

Absolutely lovely the food was delicious friendly attentive staff and very reasonable prices. So nice we’re going back next week

Absolutely lovely food, mussels were gorgeous and roast belly pork was amazing, atmosphere was so chilled overlooking bowling green, staff were lovely and very professional, will be returning soon ❤️

Absolutely delicious meal last night with our kiwi friends, great menu, thank you to the chef. Love your pub Neil. Always clean. The ladies toilets are splendid. Adore the pink hand dryers!!! And the waiting staff are superb. Will definitely eat here again next time we're mooring up for the night on NBAreandare ;-)

A really lovely place, lovely food and lovely really helpful staff. My son has a nut allergy and they were very attentive in ensuring we knew our options and made us feel at ease with the menu x thank you and we will be back x

Friends came up from Hertfordshire for the weekend so we wanted to try your restaurant. Food was beautiful steak was fantastic.

The service could of been better. The waitress forgot about us and I had to ask if we could order. And then we had to go up and pay at the end. Service could of been better. However we had a great night.

The food was medioka nothing special the fish I had wasn't very tasty and extremely greasy and my partners burger had gristle chunks in it and although we asked for a plain cheese burger it came smothered in some onion chutney which they hid under the cheese. The place was very busy as it was a nice day but even so the service was very slow... no one came to ask if the food was ok. Cheap and cheerful that's all it was...

Steak sandwich, steak wasn't good enough for its rare state..do rare and bread mix well ever,bloody bread and seriously tough steak,too hungry to complain,drinks were slow but god the chips! Would go again but would order something else

When you order Cod Fritters, roasted lemon & Tomato & Onion salad, you expect Cod Fritters, roasted lemon & Tomato & Onion salad.



No I get three balls of batter with the smallest amount of cod possible and a small bunch of limp lettuce leaf!! No tomato, no onion no lemon and well quite frankly no bloody Cod!!

Very long wait for food, and very poor service, we will not be returning.

The menu was limited, the service very slow and when I did get my food it was poor quality and not well cooked.

Rude member of staff! I had to order a drink twice as it was clearly not the drink I asked for. The barrel needed changing, which was then done and when the drink was brought back to us there was no apology, just a ‘check that it’s right now’. No ice (this has now happened on 2 occasions) - 25 degrees and no ice! No gin glasses as apparently they have all been stolen. Not keen to return to this pub.
