On Saturday 15th June, a shoplifting team were arrested at Asda Enniskillen. Subsequent search of their vehicle revealed that 3 other stores in Enniskillen were targeted too.
Around £700 worth of goods were recovered and 2 females appeared in court this morning.
This was their 1st offence, but still received a 3 month suspended sentence each and had to pay back the value of the goods.

I would like to place on record my sincere thanks to all involved in the tragic incident at Kesh last night.
To the members of the community who phoned police, informing them of this tragic incident.
To the brave officers who arrived quickly on the scene, removed their kit and dived into the water to search for the casualty.
... To the members of the community who also entered the water to help us in the rescue attempt.
To the community members in the speed boat who also helped.
To our colleagues in the ambulance service, who sped the casualty away to hospital.
To the PSNI Duty Inspector who also arrived on scene and entered the water to help search for anyone else who may have been in the vehicle.
To our colleagues in the SWAH Emergency Department who save lives every day.
This was a team effort by the community and emergency services working together to protect people and prevent harm.
And finally our thoughts are with the casualty, their family and friends at this terrible time.
Thanks to one and all.
Clive Beatty, District Commander.

👮🏻 🚨 We need your help with a couple of matters:

If you were in the area and saw anything that could help us, please call 101 quoting reference 1816 12/06/19
- We would also like to appeal for witnesses to a collision that occurred on the Wellington Road in Enniskillen on Wednesday at around 4.25pm. Thankfully no one was injured however the driver of one of the vehicles, a 'bronze coloured jeep', did not stop after colliding with a white Renault Megane. Summer exams are coming to an end. If you are out celebrating, please keep in mind that a criminal record for assault or a public order offence can put a dampener on future career prospects. Don’t ruin all your hard work!
Make sure you have a taxi or a lift arranged to get you home as leaving it to the wee hours can leave it difficult to find one.

Yesterday, a few minutes before finishing time Police were patrolling Enniskillen, looking forward to catching up on Love Island when a car caught our attention. Not sure whether it was the fact it had no lights on or because it was veering over the white line into oncoming traffic? 🤔
The car was stopped and the driver blew over the limit. It then became clear that the driver had potentially hit some cars before we came across him. Not to mention he had allegedly taken the ca...r without the owners permission.
How people still think it is acceptable to drive when under the influence of alcohol is beyond belief. If the circumstances were different someone could have been seriously hurt, or worse.
This time Police were in the right place at the right time. If you see any car and you suspect the driver has been drinking, give us a ring. You could save a life or two

Another non insured vehicle driving on our roads. This vehicle hasn't been insured for a few months. Neighbourhood officers carried out a check on the vehicle which was driving through our town at peak rush hour time. This vehicle is now been seized and its owner has now been issued with 6 penalty points and a £205.

Officers from B Section Enniskillen visited Lack Primary School this morning to teach the pupils about the dangers of speeding cars 🚘 Thankfully on this occasion every car was below 30mph! Thanks to all those drivers who gave us a friendly wave and toot of the horn, the kids loved it! We definitely have a few colleagues in the making 👮‍♂️#Watchyourspeed #PSNIFermanagh
