The Prebendal Manor is an early 13th century manor, which replaced a large Anglo-Saxon hall that the Danish King Cnut owned. He visited his royal hall, bringing with him a huge entourage, sometime after 1017AD.

Headline act: Dessie Magee and band Brighton based folk/rock singer-songwriter Dessie Magee, hails from Belfast, Northern Ireland where his career began within the heavy underground music scene. With a diverse musical background, Dessie’s music has recently taken a softer approach drawing influences from the likes of Hozier, Ben Howard, Nathaniel Rateliff and Fink. This will be an exclusive and intimate night of music in a historical setting. Tickets: £16.75 per person (bookable by tables) Supper and a bar available for additional fee. The event will take place in the 18th Century tithe barn surrounded by beautiful gardens, with a table service for the food and drink.

The wall in the first image was finished just before Christmas. I only have to put the capping stones on. Its been too wet to get the tractor on site with the big stones. The other wall section came down just before Christmas and this Muggins has nearly finished this re-build. Then the entire length will be sealed. It was probably built in the early 1800's and is listed.
This was and, still is, our Christmas kitchen at the Prebendal Manor.

Muggins is back wall building again when weather permits. This section was rebuilt some years ago, not by me, but it was never going to last. I had intended to take it down in a controlled way but alas that did not happen. I hope to have it finished by Christmas
