We had a fantastic experience at this hotel. I stayed her last Friday night for two nights.Night before I got married. The hotel manager Annabelle was fantastic I mentioned I was getting married and she helped me out in making sure my room was clean and tidy after I got dressed and managed to get me a sea view room. And there was a lovely wedding card in the room and a bottle of bubbly. They definitely went the extra mile to make everything perfect. Thank you. Reviewing this from the costa del sol. ��

Stayed last night with our grandchildren , both rooms were spotlessly clean and had everthing needed for an enjoyable stay .Friendly,welcoming staff and food from the Brewer Fayre was excellent value n very good .Look forward to visiting again soon.

Stayed here for one night had two rooms one for my mum and dad and one for hubby, daughter and myself. Both rooms were spotlessly clean, very comfy and great air con. We both had sea views and the staff were very friendly. Had breakfast and dinner in the brewers fayre and the food was good. Breakfast was good value. Would most certainly return and recommend it’s an ideal location on the seafront

Stayed for 3 nights for a short break with family, it is a lovely hotel, staff very helpful, food in brewers fayre was also very good too ate there for breakfast and dinner, my only complaint was the long queue and wait for check in the day we arrived as there was only one person on the desk, waited over 20 minutes for keys to room and i had checked in online thinking i could use a self service machine but there was not one.

Stayed for 1 night with my 2 kids and loved it. Room was perfect, nice tv, bathroom and included a hairdryer. Great view of the beach. Friendly staff and easy check in. Easy to book breakfast at a very good price for eat as much as u like and my 2 kids free. Very well located with beach directly in front, sea life centre and pier close by. Will be returning.

My husband & I bought our Mother's here last night for their Birthdays & we weren't disappointed. We asked for 3 family rooms as we needed wheelchair access & sea views which we got & the rooms were all spotlessly clean & comfortable. Very pleasant & friendly staff on reception & in the restaurant & despite being told our meals would be delayed as there had been a problem in the kitchen we didn't have to wait too long & they were all excellent. Would definitely return!!

Lovely hotel, we managed to get a room overlooking the sea, what a way to wake up in the morning looking out to sea. Staff very friendly and helpful. Food was good in Brewers fair, sometimes breakfast could have been hotter. Looking forward to coming back.

First time in soutend and this hotel. Hotel easy access to all Southend has to offer.

Welcomed at reception with a warm smile and a nice welcome. Staying overnight l had a perfect sea view room that was spotless and had a goodnight rest. Breakfast was first class and there was everything l need including poached eggs on toast. Overall the hotel and the staff where pleasant and curtious so much so l have book for a weekend visit next May Looking forward to seeing then

Beautifully clean and welcoming, lovely bar staff, Justin and Stacey were really helpful, food in the restaurant was great last night and breakfast this morning was great too. Easy to get a bus too, the stop is right outside �

Great hotel crap pub after driving 378 miles had a nap and wasn't informed pub stopped serving food at 8pm so had to find a take away only menu available was Chinese and that was shut thankyou Internet otherwise would have had nothing.

Stayed there a couple of years ago with the family service wasn't good in restaurant thought we would stay there again this weekend Sept 16/17th with the family very noisy people in room opposite no sleep and yet premier inn guarantee good nights sleep restaurant had to wait in evening an hour and a half for our meal very disorganised breakfast not much better waited 20 mins for scrambled egg to .come up when I was told 5 minutes by that time rest of food on plate was cold very poor management feel sorry for staff booked 3 rooms for family very disappointed will definitely not be staying there again

Looks good from the outside. We pick it hoping for a sea view, request a sea view but we didnt get one. It also has on site parking £3 night.

Room smells weird (of stale smoke or something)and you cant get any fresh air because the window are sealed. Full book could not be moved.

The bed linen was very dirty, i dont believe it had been changed only made up. We had to get it changed about 11pm plus there are stains on the side of the wall near the bed...hopefully coffee stains!!!

Breakfast ok.

The staff are friendly and the location is good.

It’s got a great location, the majority of the staff are top class. However, there are far too few of them, or they’re being badly deployed. Simply put, the whole bar/restaurant operation revolves around ordering your drinks/food at the bar, no matter if you only want a drink, or are ordering meals and drinks. Yet the bar has only one server, so, if you simply want a beer to enjoy outside, or have gone through the ‘book a table’ routine, you still end up queuing at the bar to place your order.



I will say the food I have had has been good, as is the attitude of most of the staff, but c’mon, get it organised, you could make so much more in sales
