After Boris speech 💬 and a sleepless night 🌃 I have decided to make today our last day until things have blown over. We had a fresh delivery 🌿 in from Holland today to fulfill our orders this week and have delivered them all safely this afternoon. I'll be calling later orders in our diary nearer the time to see if we can still get deliveries - this is mainly for funeral work and I will do everything I can to do them if not I'll issue refunds. I can easily work from home (wit...h my 2 little monkeys), if I can get the flowers. Our wholesalers have very limited stock and delivery options - one wholesaler has had to stop all deliveries to the UK. Our workshops will be cancelled and refunded, and Millie is currently working from home 👩‍💻 to answer workshop and wedding enquiries.

After the busiest Mother's Day in 10 years history of Ragged Robin Florist, in the most uncertain of times... we have made it! 👏🏻 My focus all week has just been to see Mother's Day complete- and it's done! I can't thank everyone enough- customers, staff, family and friends. I've held back so many tears this week! With each email and phone call with brides cancelling weddings, to the 'sorry I can't be with you' card messages, from the phone calls from all over the world in th...e most difficult times I have ever lived in. 😔 However, the tears just poured from mine and Millie’s eyes as we made the decision to close our doors after today until this whole thing has blown over. WE WILL STILL BE OPEN on our phone lines, internet orders, emails and social media accounts but we need to keep safe. Us and the staff here have children and vulnerable family members we need to protect. We can do this while still operating, and keeping ourselves healthy and fulfilling orders with contactless delivery. We will confirm more details tomorrow, but we now need to chill and see our mum's (from a distance) 🌸. Thank you all so much for your support. This week has to have been the most surreal week ever... Just feel like I'm going to wake up from this terrible dream. My heart hurts so badly for all our wonderful brides and grooms who have had to change their wedding plans in these uncertain times. Just remember we are here for you and will work with you in every way we can. This week was always going to be our busiest week of the year with Mother's Day this Sunday, but it has gone beyond crazy busy, with so many people s...elf isolating and unable to visit loved ones. We have been working every hour to make sure your mums get flowers to brighten these difficult times. 🌸 I'm so sorry if we haven't replied to messages or emails but promise to as soon as we can.
