Religion & Theology Postgraduate Conference Description

CFP: Perfection (21st Joint Postgraduate Conference on Religion and Theology, 11-12 March 2016, University of Bristol)

Celebrating the golden anniversary of the Department of Religion and Theology at the University of Bristol, we are delighted to announce that the theme of this year's annual postgraduate conference is 'Perfection. ' The conference, run in partnership with six universities and colleges in the south west, is an open and friendly forum in which postgraduate students and early career scholars from all disciplines are invited to present work addressing any aspect of religion or theology. Proposals addressing the broad theme of 'Perfection' are especially welcome, however we wish to stress that, as in previous years, proposals for all work on any religious tradition will be considered.

Abstracts of up to 150 words for either 20-minute papers or for posters are to be submitted online by the 19th of February, at bristol. ac. uk /pg-rt-conf

As always, we will be running an undergraduate panel, where third year undergraduate students will have the unique opportunity to present a 10 minute paper in a supportive environment. This is always a highlight of the conference, and students who have taken part in previous years have enjoyed the experience and have found it to be immensely rewarding.
